Thank you ! was my first ever video after graduation nowadays I work as a preparation manager so never have time to make videos sadly. However you never know when summer holidays pop up i might actually have time to make more :) i also recommend watching Matias R channel he's been a source of inspiration if you love animation in solid.

Thanks for the amazing turtorial , your helping me with our project , but how do you rotate the object without going to the command ? is there a shortcut

Thank you! In assembly mode, i think if i remember correctly you just hold down and press right mouse key while pressing your part. Also keep in mind that the first part you import will be preset fixed (locked) in air, if you don't want it like that just right click and in pop up window select float. Good Luck! :)

Hello, even if I only mate the edges noted, the pellets stick together and aren't at all flexible, I also can't mate them to the profile. Do you have an idea on what I could be doing wrong?

Hi Sophie! could be two possible things that i can think of , the first thing to take to note is that the first part you import is by default set as fixed, if you don't want it like that, just right click, and from the drop down menu select float i suspect this to be the error because your basically telling the program that your part which is fixed anchored in space mated to other part shall be moved. Another less possible scenario is that you created a subassembly instead of an assembly and in subassembly every movement is by default set as rigid to undo this right click and select document properties and set as flexible instead.

Probably forgot to mention that the first part you import into your assembly will by default be fixed , just right click the part and select float in the pop up menu. Good luck! :)

Also make sure you create a single line sketch and then use edges and vertices while mating, this will give you a flexible assembly.
