    "Bell Bottom Blues" is a song written by Eric Clapton and Bobby Whitlock and performed by the band Derek and the Dominos. It is an expression of Clapton's unrequited love for Pattie Boyd, the wife of his friend George Harrison, and appears on the 1970 double album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs".
    "The Promise" is a song by the British band When in Rome, and was written by all three band members, Clive Farrington, Andrew Mann and Michael Floreale. First released in 1987 on 10 Records, "The Promise" is the lead single from their self-titled debut album.

      @Rose Hawk Not a country song, but you think Sturgill ain't country? He's country as hell! Listen to High Top Mountain or his new bluegrass album for God's sake. Sturgill can literally do it all, but to say he's not country is just stupid.

    • @bikkk57
      @bikkk57 3 года назад +1

      @Rose Hawk Self classification is kind of moot. I've listened to everything he's ever done, as well as Possum and Haggard. Country is more than a type of music. A man born and raised in rural Kentucky who knows how to hunt and fish, is country. Just in the way I am. I'm not saying everything he's ever put out is a Country album. I'm well aware that Sound and Fury, and Sailor's Guide are far more Rock oriented. But to suggest that he's not country in any way is just silly. Rather you see yourself as that or not, it is what it is. As a black guy from rural NC I know good and damn well that I'm country rather I like it or not. It doesn't matter than Led Zeppelin and The Ramones are my favorite bands. Country is a part of my identity. Can't hide roots.

I am hopeful that one day these issues will be resolved and that video can be run again on my RUclips channel. I am also seeking alternative platforms where that video may be shared without breaking copyright rules. We shall see. Its not that difficult. I watched three vids on how to play it. Its just intricate. But playable. Maybe not all the way sing able. With the falsetto. Unless you can pull it off.
      Then i guess its safe to say, it should be heard live, still today, to show what music really is. And heart felt lyrics.
