- I've uploaded many tutorials on how to get these and always had to put the videos down because there were some flaws or inconsistencies. This setup is not random. It is completely skill based. If it fails, you're either not following the instructions properly or your button presses were too slow.
It has been brought to my attention that this glitch may break some quests related to Leomon, Frigimon and Myotismon.
Please don't use this glitch unless you finished these questlines already!
how can I play this game? I have a laptop a ps4, and ps5 and nintendo switch and wii u.

I'm equally impressed by the fact that you got the card unstuck from the screen. Always thought it was 100% permanent
so I tried doing this in conjunction with the 'unglitch shop' bit, trying to lose items so I can pick them up later for this and having less cash than the price of the glitched chainsaw. wouldnt let me buy it and none of the lost items showed up (and i lost a lotta them). so i decided to try buying all the remaining chainsaws. that seemed to do the trick both unglitching the shop, and getting the secret items.

Holy crap I been playing this game for 20 years and I've always wanted Gigadramon 🥺 as far as I know, back in the day you could only get the digivolving item using a gameshark & I was never lucky enough to have one of those but today my wish finally came true thanks to this vid 💗 (I'm also playing on a ps1 emulator)

@@doodoo7207 it will need emulator and so. Besides not with joysticks or so like ps
@@amralimedicine you can always plug joystick for ps with connector in pc and set controls over emulator for it

Okay I think we did the Tamer Card glitch back then with my friends when I was a kid,but we only use it to see all the possible digivolutions back then. If you do the card glitch you can see all the possible digivolutions in your menu. I didnt know it can be used for secret items
I'm playing it on my Steam Deck, man! the game is even better than I remember 😁👍
You can use this card glitch to have a look at the evolution chart that you haven't unlocked yet. Found it by accident back then when there was no internet for me to read guides, it's like having a peek at the future possibilities. Fun as heck.

Very cool, I love these vídeos about glitches….last time I played I was able to track some interesting numérical values with cheat engine! Care mistake, vírus bar, discipline , happyness, number of battles, fatigue….

im getting a different item i think, and i only get the frigikey and gear into my stores
just wanted to get the recolored digimon, playing on a physical disc on ps3 if that matters.
even tried the low money thing, but no luck.
unsure if im screwing up or not, duplicating stolen items and infinite chainsaw worked just fine.
The items indicate that you got the correct glitch item, but you deposited the incorrect amount at the bank (9 instead of 255).

@@Geta92 yeah as soon as i pressed square at the bank all the items was deposited on the first click, so i definitively did not have enough, ill try again later.

@Geta92 I'm using RetroAchievement compatible rom, which should have been NTSC-USA, but △ wasn't at top+3. I had to search for it manually, but when I found it, I can only buy max of 10, using square buton. Any idea why?
I've made sure to see player model, and also tried digimon model, both result in the same list.
I'm honestly not quite sure how the position could be inconsistent. As for how many you can buy... maybe try spending as much money as you can, so you can barely buy the 1 item you use as a setup and then try to buy the glitch item. Some of the glitch items cost negative money and behave weirdly.
I notice in the video that you haven't expanded the player inventory space yet. Do you need to do this before collecting the keychains or can you do this at any time in your adventure?
I can't say for certain, but it shouldn't really matter.

É possível obter Panjyamon, Metal Etemon e Gigadramon de uma maneira "limpa" ? Todos vídeos que vejo, esses digimons foram obtidos usando bug's ou códigos de gameshark, mas de forma natural, é possível obtê-los? Pois acho curioso os desenvolvedores terem criado os itens de digievolução, o modelo dos digimons e ainda sim não terem colocados no jogo, estranho.
MetalEtemon's digivolution item was distributed via a magazine event. I think you needed to sent them your memory card and they added the item into your game. Panjyamon's item was available by using a special demo disc of the game that was shipped with Comic BomBom which includes an option to also add the item to the game. Gigadramon is the only one that was never distributed in any way.

Eu gostaria de saber o motivo de terem desistido de desenvolver o Were Garurumon, mas isso acho q jamais vamos descobrir... Meu sonho é os Modder adicionar o modelo 3D do Were Garurumon ao jogo tornando ele jogável, mas acho que é um sonho impossível
@@Nan_94 a Bandai quer trazer digimon world remaster e deixou a cargo dos fãs a escolha do jogo que vai ser remasterizado. Se for Digimon World 1 cabe a comunidade pedir que além de remasterizar coloquem os personagens que faltam.

hello , i got the issue when i m trying to reproduce your step. i cant buy 25 pcs triangle item like what in your video show even i m trying press square + down or even try another combination the cap that i got is 14 pcs triangle item only and i cant unlock gigadramon , metaletemon and panjyamon item beside only unlock gear and keys item. i m playing on NTSC version too
Make sure that you don't have any of the glitched item in your inventory prior to doing the glitch. Also try to keep your money as low as possible, having less money usually makes it easier to buy glitch items in my experience. Though if you already did this glitch to an extend, this setup will not work anymore as I cannot tell you how much of the item you'd need to bank to get the memory value correct from the value you've already set it to prior.
i dont know if you still check this geta but im having trouble and would love some advice. my item shop that exact item and description is 13 up from the R1 down but when i buy it i only get 6 and it gives me the rain plant and bloody steak in my shops, i dont know what im doing wrong ive tried this a ton but cant quite figure it out. im on NTSC Emulator. and no matter what i buy it seems to always be in 6 quantity
Hm, you're buying the right item for sure then, just the wrong amount. Try reducing your money to as little as possible before buying the restore. If the glitch item is too expensive, that might change things depending on how much you have on you before doing the glitch.

Did you make sure to look at your tamer model after doing the card glitch? That part is important as it determines what items appear in the list. I recall that closing the card menu directly would give you a list of almost only non-buyable various. Looking at your Digimon model in the digimon menu also works.

I did a full game reset.
I even tried Both looking At the tamer model. No result. Than tried again looking at the digimon model.
But neither of it doesnt work.
I cant get the triangle item to show up whatever I tried.
What version of the game are you playing? Mind telling me the order of the items that do show up?
@@Geta92 I cant get the triangle item too. Either with tamer and digimon model. It only show me "makes digimon happy...". I'm on PAL version of the game
@@essaul5441 I don't know if this works on the PAL version. This was done on NTSC. The list may be different or maybe just the order is different. Makes Digimon Happy sounds like a blue apple. Can you buy it?

I remember one time I went to the place where we recruit palamon and I had a palamon too it suddenly evolved into togemon and i turned the playstation off cause I didn't want togemon years later even now I'm curious how the hell that happened i searched all over internet to see if anyone had this" happend to them. Is it region thing or a copy? I really don't have any idea ( sorry for my bad English)
Togemon wasn't even designed when this game released. I'm afraid you're misremembering this.
@@Geta92 yeah I thought that too. But my big sister and brother also remembers it cause they were disappointed too that I got togemon 🙁. I won't lie I'm surprised that it didn't happen to other players the mystery will forever hunts me but I wont give up I'll keep searching

It was probably mistaken identity for another digimon that looked similar, if you look at the chart, veggiemon and ogremon look a little bit like togemon.

are you playing the physical copy of this game or an emulator version?
I've been trying to glitch but I'm missing something that I don't know. I really try to press triangle super fast but then the npc says something about "gracias" then "no" and I can't open the reclycle shop anymore x(
I succeed on chainsaw and cloning items glitch but I do not on this one
That can mean one of two things, either you're not pressing it fast enough, or you haven't stacked enough cards on top of each other.
@@Geta92 hmm I tryied to press Lot of times even saved stat before this step and reload try again and again. I did not notice If I stack cards or not, I know that I could do the popup card stick in the middle of screen. I'll try again later. Btw I bought the items I duplicated before except the restore (the last one). It's right or should I have the restore and one more item on the shop? Thx anyway

I‘ve never seen these three digimon. are these items only obtainable on a special version of this game or do they exist on any version?
They were special distributions only. Except for Gigadramon which was never available at all.
One of those digimon is a visual disappointment as its just a leomon in grey but it wouldn't be the first time they made variations of a preexisting digimon

@@GekkaGekkaGekka You could mail your memory card to a magazine and they'd put one of the items on your save file. They did that for MetalEtemon one time. This was also meant for Gigadramon, but they never distributed it. Panyjamon was on a special demo disc that was sent to some magazine subscribers as a price.

The game prevents you from entering the mansion with anything but a virus type.

It means you pressed triangle too late.
@@Geta92 I mean, I can't even buy "Restore" item on Recycle Shop like in your video, because that item is still not available in there from the beginning. So there is no chance for me for pressing triangle.
Or maybe I already bought that "Restore" before before doing this glitch, so I can't get it and open the recycle shop again?
@@Kazukiaditya You'd have to get another item stolen then. You need one stolen item in the shop to open it.

How do you even come up with this stuff?
You can almost do everything with glitch shops. It's not as broken as Pokémon where you can literally make the game run custom code but it's pretty close. You can get all items, all medals and rewrite the progress of your save file to your liking. It's a pretty mighty entryway into a lot of broken stuff.

Yes, it can be used for almost the same things. Unlike the textbox glitches it cannot randomly crash the game though, so I kind of prefer it nowadays.

@@gilbertomunoz8876 The item list you get with this method is technically fixed to only contain items with an ID that is a multiple of 4: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19E7zgE2JJN4LQnlv9TNzenTaeld5OcRzC99EkiM80Cw/edit#gid=1399532893 There are ways to get more items, but then it gets very complicated.

Yes, if you feed one of the other two items you can.
Don't say anything about needing an item to trade with them
Can this be done on ps2 or ps1 console?
It should work on any console since it doesn't involve any hardware manipulation.

He cannot be used as a partner Digimon. He is missing too much code, he only works as an enemy in battle.
@@Geta92 oh i had myotismon as a partner digimon myself i played the game on the classicboy emulator on my phone and i got my digimon to digivolve into with steak i think somehow
@@49ersfanMatt That isn't really a thing. It's more likely the emulator had build-in cheats. Myotismon really doesn't work though. Praising or scolding him would freeze the game for example.

How did you get the game to look so good?
You can tweak the visuals a little if you record the footage on an emulator, it doesn't look as good on original hardware.
@@Geta92 The graphics on dmw1 were never that great lol. However if they did a true remake they could do so much more with it.
@@MysticWarriorMJIt was ugly but it had so much soul, like it really looked like a digital real world idk. The newest digimon world is a bunch of repeated assets, I liked the game but it lacks atmosphere imo. The one for the PSP is nice but still I feel much more immersed in W1
@@natas5022 Of course there is going to be reused assets, why pay extra money to make brand new models when the existing ones are still good. Although an HD digimon world game would be interesting.
