Lovely bikes. I have a 2002 Speed triple 955. Had it now for 18 years and still love it.
i have from year 2000 and now it ´s 126000 kms

Your triumph is gorgeous mate amazing to see british bikes cared fir in germany. I iwn a new gsa but i recently got bored cos i cant do repairs on bmw due to warranty. So i bought a 2005 datona 21k none runner one owner for 15 years. I fixed it and its running now i need to fit speed triple bars as i cant ride with clipons. Are you aware of the german history of triumph. Also i rode gs around germany in may
Thank you! I am a fan of the Speed Triple since the T300. They are solid and reliable bikes, so you should be able to enjoy your Daytona for quite some time into the future. Good luck with the finishing touches!

Thank you! I had provided a complete documentation of the build to the TÜV prior to the inspection, so the TÜV inspection itself was a very friendly 10 minutes affair without any hickups.
@@thomasgessner Ich bekomme in einer Wo. die 2010er Speed Triple mit Brembo's. Hoffentlich sind die Sorgenfrei.
@@jerryx2000 Glückwunsch! Wegen der Bremsanlage würde ich mir keine Sorgen machen - vermutlich tut der Anlage aber eine Revision gut, wenn das noch nie gemacht wurde. Viel Spaß damit!

L'axe et les vis de maintien du moteur sont des fabrications spéciales. Les pièces ont été fabriquées par www.componentengineering.co.uk/
Les collecteurs d'échappement sont également une fabrication spéciale de MAB (www.mab-power.de).

What a fantastic pair! Did you have any issues with your country's TUV certification? I'm an Englishman with a 955i Speed Triple but I know the German TUV can be a real pain!

Thank you for your compliments! You are right about the German TÜV. Everything you build, you need to build with TÜV certification in mind. This included me putting together a complete file on the build process and the components used. It is admittedly a bit of a pain. There is just no leeway, but if you keep that in mind, you stand a fair chance to pass certification. The Mk2 (the red one) passed with flying colors, though.

@@nicksmith7552 sorry for the late reply. TÜV - technical inspection body in Germany. Responsible to conduct the mandatory bi-annual vehicle inspection. Feared by all customizers.

Hallo! Beeindruckende Arbeit, gefällt mir sehr deine Liebe zum Detail. Ich würde mich über mehr Infos zu deiner Scheinwerfer Lösung interessieren. Habe das gleiche Modell und würde gern mehr aus den Leuchten raus holen. Z. B. Möchte ich beide zum leuchten bringen und ggf. auf LED Beleuchtung umbauen. Danke vorab.
Zunächst danke für das Lob! Die Schaltung für beide Scheinwerfer ist im Kabelbaum bereits vorgesehen - schau einmal in den Schaltplan. Bei mir leuchten H4-Klarglasscheinwerfer vom TM Acceessories.

Hallo Kai, die Gleitrohre sind DLC-beschichtete Exemplare, die ich seinerzeit über Ebay gekauft habe
@@thomasgessner gibt es die Firma noch wo du die gekauft hast und wie Teuer?
@@kaipirente8132 das war die Firma Promoto. Ein Gabelrohr lag bei gut 300€, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere.

Wahnsinn wieviel hat er Umbau gekostet?
Jede der beiden etwa 16k Materialkosten incl. Basisfahrzeug respektive Motor bei der Mk2

Ist bei dir am tank der kraftstoffdruckregler auch nicht angeschlossen ?
Und hörst du deine benzinpumpe auch beim fahren ?
Du meinst vermutlich den Schlauch am Druckregler? Den habe ich auch nicht angeschlossen. Die Benzinpumpe höre ich zwar vor dem Starten, nicht aber beim Fahren.
@@thomasgessner und für was ist der schlauch beim der airbox der auf der rechtenfahrerseite der hing einfach nur so rum unf war nirgends drauf
@@buffaloo954 Ich denke, Du meinst da den Schlauch vom Leerlaufsystem. Der gehört natürlich an die Airbox
@@thomasgessner also ich hab heute mal denn tank angebaut und von der airbox ist einschlauch (schwarz mit klammer) einfach runtergehangen war nirgensdrauf beim fahren hab ich nix gemerkt und als ich denn schlauch angefasst habe merkte ich das im schlauch ein stopsel drinnen war der aber nicht vom hersteller ist denn hat irgendwer rein

Super! Ich war dann auf der falschen Seite. Muss ich das Tune anpassen? Ich habe eine jedes Jahr gewartete 2001 mit 16000 Kilometer gekauft und verfeinere sie jetzt. Ist eine Erinnerung an meine zweite Speed Triple nach der T300B. Habe meine moderne 1200RR möchte ich auch nicht missen. Ein Flop der mal gesucht wird.
