So many great Japanese bands, especially all girl rock\Metal bands making great strides in gaining popularity internationally....due to 3 little girls who blazed the path for them.....BABYMETAL!!!
There are 200+ Rock/Metal bands in Japan and Band Maid is #1!! They will be touring the US in October, 13 cities, pretty much sold-out!! They have complete creative control of their music with the 2 guitarist composing the music and writing the lyrics.
All sold out except The Nickelodeon amphitheater in New Jersey. It holds 4000. I can't make it. But I am still hoping that it sells out. Maybe this will give promoters some confidence to give them a proper extended tour in the not too distant future. However I don't want them to get burned out.

Greatest compliment you can give these ladies. Is not to say that they are a chick a girl or a group/band of women. But that they are 5 phenomenally talented musicians. With great songs, musicianship and incredible live performers. That just happen to be 5 unique, charismatic poised lovely young beautiful women. They are not a woman's rock group. They're great rock group that just happens to be made up of women. Keep up the good work !

I almost bought tickets to the Baltimore show. Kicking myself for not doing it. They added additional shows and those sold out quickly as well.
