Changed the drive socket and blade assembly on my 5200 one month ago. Now I notice the drive socket is not seating anymore and I'm unable to tighten it. It just keeps popping off the base. Did I get a defective drive socket? When I use the blender I'm smelling a burning odor and it looks like shreds of black on the base of the container too.

I bought the drive socket for my 5200. I don't see what the little screw is doing. I don't see anything that it attaches to when screwed on. I can pull the drive socket off even with the screw on.

Hello. I have removed the screw and the drive socket still won't budge. It's still attached some how. It just wobbles around--removing the screw made no difference. Is the drive socket attached any where else?

You have to line up the arrow with the screw hole. My drive socket comes off with the screw in or without the screw lol position doesn't matter either. I can still use the machine so i don't know

I don’t have an arrow… But also the set screw doesn’t fit into the scree hole on the socket weirdly

Hi there! After watching the video back a couple of times, it appears that was a reflection as he moved his hand away from the base!

The background is so dark you can’t really even see what’s going on. You need to change the lighting.
