mans was the international mvp then came over and won a championship in the nba; then went back home to argentina to do the impossible and beat team usa in the olympics.. goated
the most underrated basketball player of all time, euroleague title, olympic gold medalist beating team usa, nba titles, he sacrificed alot for the spurs,
That right there is not talked about enough. That is an crazy, insane accomplishment. Also he was a huge factor in every one of those championships. He wasn't just riding the bus
💪🏾💯
manu > wade
Could’ve been out here like Luka!!
you forgot HOFer
He's undoubtedly a hall of famer
Kobe, Tracy, Manu, Iverson, Pierce, VC, Francis, Baron, Rip, Billups, Ray, KG, Duncan, Dirk, Nash, Iso Joe, I missed these guys..
Ginobili is ridiculously under rated, who sacrificed his fame for the team. Only true basketball fans know what he gave to the game. Everybody else is just a casual ESPN fan.
Top 5 SG all time and no one will change my mind. He was that good
Manu is my litmus test player when I talk to someone about basketball. Their opinion on him lets me know if I can take their other opinions seriously or not.
Like you said, top 5 SG all time, right after Wade for me. Box score "fans" will never understand how good Manu truly was.
He revolutionized the game with the euro step. Even though he didn't invent it, he made it popular.
This man could have been a starting shooting guard on any team in the NBA besides the Lakers and Heat. And even then he could have been the starting point guard of those two teams. This man is the definition of sacrifice.
No, just the Lakers. Ginobili was better than Wade. Wade was just the man on his team. Ginobili sacrified so much
@@TheH3dgie D Wade is a top 3 SG of all time. Give this man some respect
@@nguyenkhoahoang6406 Nah mate. He isnt top 3. but that doesnt mean I disrespected him.
@@TheH3dgie I’m a spurs fan and love Manu. Wade is top 3 SG all-time. If you wanna put him 4 I disagree but fine… he’s top 4 at LEAST.
@@nguyenkhoahoang6406 mmmnaaah Jordan, Kobe/Manu, then the rest.
You can see his impact on the game with all the Eurosteps being done nowadays.
Yesssss!!!
Along with the transition and step back 3s.
@@Hanharrftw yes and yes!
one of those players that you can’t just look at their stat sheet, you had to have been watching back then to understand how unique and good of a player he was at that time. on a different team he probably makes more all star teams but either way he had a great career
Look at his advanced stats. Shows how impactful he was. Especially in the playoffs
@@DrMuffin1080 he has the best %winning record in all NBA HISTORY with %72 talking about players with +1000 games. That tells a lot, but is not all... Manu was great in some many thing that almost no one, just a few can really notice.
I'd rather have the rings than all star games.
He played the game the right way and did what needed to be done. No ego, no selfishness and pure hard work. The result, he’s one of the most decorated players on the sport overall. Euroleague title, Olympic Gold Medalist, key player for one of the greatest NBA dynasties, multiple NBA rings and has his jersey retired. Can think very few people with that kind of accomplishments. You can win games without players like Manu, but you can’t win championships without players like Manu.
Manu was silent Killer in Playoffs Most underrated Spurs player of all time Eurosteps 👑
He’s really the prototype for so many modern day guards. Even more so than Kobe and Jordan at this point.
Style-wise, yeah he really is.
He could’ve easily averaged 25+ Points a game and possibly led the league in assists.
Just imagine his game translated into today’s game.
Dlo definitely took some of his game
Less defence and athleticism, but I imagine that’s how manu would be only better lol
He only shot 13 a game in 07-08 too imagine he’s chucking it up for 30 a game like Kobe lmaoo😂 easy 30 piece
MVP of the 2005 Finals.
As a Laker fan... I hated Ginoblii at first because he plays so good... But I came to be a fan because he's like a horse with a burst of speed...... Underrated best all around game on both ends of the floor
In 2008, Manu was a Top-10 player in the NBA. And in an era where Duncan, KG, Lebron, Kobe, Wade, Nash, Dirk, CP3, Carmelo, and even Dwight played some MVP-level basketball, that was no small feat. All of those guys mentioned (except Dwight) are on the NBA75 list, and Manu deserves that recognition also.
In this year Manu was one of the very best players in the NBA on both sides of the ball. He was often the best and most impactful player on the floor, especially when the stakes got higher and the opponents were tougher. And even though anyone watching the games could tell you that just based off the eye test, his advanced stats really solidify his case.
He was 7th in PER, 6th in WS/48, 6th in VORP, 6th in OBPM, 5th in DBPM, and 3rd in BPM! He played only 31 minutes per game, coming off the BENCH! Absolutely insane. He was certainly robbed of an All-Star selection this year.
This man falls somewhere between the 5th to 8th greatest SGs of all-time in my book, it’s a shame he will probably never get that recognition. When people argue against Manu being a first ballot HOFer, I can’t help but to feel offended on his behalf, although I’m sure he himself could care less.
Manu was always about doing whatever was needed for his team to win, individual stats and accolades be damned. I truly admire Manu for his greatness as a player, his all-time competitive fire and passion for the game. And I equally admire him as a man, for his selfless nature and impeccable character. I miss seeing him on the court so much.
He was something else😊, forgot one tiny stat and the only one he cared the most, Wining.
He's only one above of some dude call MJ😂.
There's a dude from Spain who clones players with the EA 2K, i know it's just a game😂did this with most of the top NBA players right, then he did one video with all Manu Clones😂.
With him something weird happened, of course he got the championship, 2nd season, but in the playoffs and finals was 4-0 with every single team he played against.
I know it's in spanish, and it's just a game but let me tell ya' it's amazing to watch 😂😂
Manu is so flexible, a contortionist in basktball, a mind boggling play, unpredictable shot, dribbling, passing, dunking with style changing through out games seems does'nt runout of fuel. Also the God of eurosteps and step backs....
The heart & soul of the Big3, 1st ballot HOFer, Obi Wan Ginobili #20 forever!
Sixth man award should be changed to the Manu Ginobili award..
He is no sixth man, he is first man.
It's still so exciting to see Manu play. He's so incredible! Wow!
Man, Manu was bad. I remember him playing in 2003 and he was just ok, I guess because he had spent most of his playing time overseas before he got to the NBA. Anyway his breakout season was somewhere around 2005. The long hair, the drive to the basket behind the back. He was wild with it but he was so exciting to watch. He just went so hard. He didnt care who was under the basket. He scored on big men at will at times. He didnt mind coming off the bench because he was all about the team. He could've easily been a starter. His bench production was that of a all-star. He was that good. I can talk about Ginobili all day because he left the NBA with so many exciting plays. He will be still be talked about 50 years from now. You dont forget guys like Manu Ginobili. Man these highlights brought back so many memories. Back when the Spurs were always a threat to win the Championship.
Manu in the hall of fame
Love how Pops ask Manu to be a Sixth Man and Manu accepts it.
Manu with his energy, unpridectable style of playing, akso his presence inside the court helps the Spurs a lot.
Coach Pops knows when to put him
Then the show really started when Pop would put all 3 on the court together to close out games. Beautiful team.
One of the greatest draft steals
Underrated beast. He was a unique player.
Goat size no doubt.
Big time player. Never let us down when we needed him to step up.
Except 2013
@@Cotswolds1913 beat me to it
@@BG-mn6di Yeah, but came back stronger than ever the next year, dishing one of his most exciting, emotional and memorable dunks of his career against the same rival. Talk about a great comeback!
Why 2013?
@@lanceclayton205 the ocho us spurs fans call it. 2013 NBA finals game 6. He suddenly turned into a turnover machine with 8 turnovers that game.
I m a Spurs fan and now I m crying...
So underrated during his career fr
member of the trible gold club - nba, olympics, euroleague. snatched a bat outta air, and doing it all with flair and style...GOAT szn indeed!
Damn the admiral look so happy watching them
I've been waiting for this. Manu is one of my favorite players of all time.
The biggest draft steal if all time, and one of many players that set the narrative that foreign players can hang in the big leagues
Crazy how underrated he is everyone needs to realize how crucial he was for us and every team he has played for overseas my favorite spur of all time possibly the 3rd or 4th greatest sg ever
Could have easily been Finals MVP a couple of times. One of those players who stats don’t SHOW how good they really were .
the mvp of the finals 2005 vs detroit pistons. It was his. They unfairly gave it to Duncan
That game against Cleveland was just sick! Amazing!
Manu was an nba legend for sure
He was the definition of nice
Remove the injuries and give him starter minutes.
Manu would've been Kobe-lite.
One of the greatest sidekicks in nba history
There were times when Manu completely outplayed Kobe..but most won’t want to hear this!
kobe>>>
This is what he could do on starter minutes. Both times he played 30+ minutes he was an all star.
Anyone team would’ve had him as the starter knowing how good he was but he chose to stay with the team and make his bench role possibly the best in history really the GOAT of the 6th man to me …… 16 yrs and 5 chips later and only started a 1/2 of yr out of 16? Hard to argue really
Ginobili started the Eurostep. Every NBA player is doing it. He is one my favorite Spurs players. Next is Duncan and Parker.
Manu is actually playing through injury in the Lakers series, which you can immediately tell once it cuts away to regular season highlights and his mobility is back.
That bald spot was from him having to wear a 👑 all the time
😂😂😂 you a fool man!!
Excelente comentario XD
Nice
I feel like he would be even better in today's game of basketball with the finesse, speed, and long range shooting emphasis.
Truly underated ball player. Always on the go when playing ball. Played his best ball against the top ball player and came out on top. He was hard to stop. Badass passes and drive ins. Damn good player.
He's a BEAST!!!
he was one of the GOATs....man had no weakness
I love Manu, he's one of the big time players and one of the best 6th man, but he's not one of the goats. Lmao
@King Drake It depens of what you think is a Goat. For me the top 5 players in each position can be considerer one of the Goats. Manu is a top 5 sg on my list. You possibly can argue. But is not a crazy statment at all.
@King Drake HAHAHAHAHAHA, of course he is better than fucking T mac. Are you fucking kiddin me? The is not about who has better highlights, is about who was more important to the history of the sport. D Wade and Drexler (I doubt between the glyde and Jerry West) are part of that top 5, but i have Manu above them. They were better offensevly, but is no question than Ginobili was better in playmaking and D. Harden is making a case for that list, but until he achieve something collective I cant put him near these guys because basketball is a sport team, no a fucking marathon.
@@ibleedpurpleandgold9084 Manu>Kobe
@King Drake you sound heavily triggered.... Manu>Kobe
Del 2005 al 2010 ... Ginobilli fue top 10 de la NBA y uno de los mejores Top 5 del mundo en FIBA
En 2005 fue top 1
Manu Ginobili most underrated player NBA 6th Man all-time 🔥🔥🔥
This man should enter the HOF
He did excellent with the spurs. One of the greatest from Argentina.
People forget how a lefty Argentinian was scoring like the best of ‘em
A lefty argentinian? Mmm sounds familiar 🐐
What knowledgeable basketball head doesn't know how fucking good Ginobili was?
There are a number of 2 guards from the same era with bigger names and lesser games; All Stars who never made a big shot in a playoff game in their entire careers.
And people don’t know about this guy and is so sad
I was waiting for it🔥🔥🔥
17:40 so amazing
I remember Dan Patrick asking Chuck if he rather have Christian Laettner's career over Manu's and I was like "What kind of stupid question is that?!" Manu has won and done far more than Laettner!
@LeBran Flakes He didn't ask Chuck if he was better than either guy, but rather what career he would choose out of those two. Although I don't think Chuck is content with not winning a title, it's obvious he's better than both guys.
Thanks for this Maxamillion!!!! GOAT CHANNEL
Seriously underrated
Ginobili,g.o.a.t.the most creative and smartest nba player, both offense and defense
I'm a lefty and I tried to imitate his shooting form one time in a pick up game and it was goddamn effective. Also, I got so comfortable with it and now it is my shooting form.
Ginoobiliiiiiii!!!
Lowkey he might be the most underrated player ever
He was on the bench for a majority of his career but he took that sacrifice as a winner. He was clutch on both sides and a great player for the Spurs. He easily coulda been a starter on any other team.
Gunobili is the definition of a "winner". From Italy, to Athens, to the NBA, regardless of the coach or teammates, he just wins.
En el pico de su carrera ginobilli estaba en el top 3 del mundo
They call the Spurs " The Boring Team" but when Manu is playing, you can't deny the excitement he brings.
There will never be another Ginobli
james harden is a new and improved ginobli. there both not so great defensivly , both floppers , harden better at everything else lmao :/
@@kaioshin_0538 During the regular season yeah
@@kaioshin_0538 what lol. Harden is nowhere near the competitor Ginobili is. Harden shrinks in the playoffs and the clutch , manu excels there. Harden just spams offensively, win or lose he’s getting his 40 point triple double to keep his teenage fans obsessed with him and his stats. No one else on hardens rockets teams was a good ball handler until Chris Paul. Ginobili had an all around game that benefitted the team and made his teammates better. Hardens are a dime a dozen.Rare to find a player with all the skill iq and heart ready to sacrifice stats for team success
@@86hills59 harden led his team to the wcf 2 times and if cp3 didnt get injured he would be in the finals , and 2 point harden avr more playoffs points then ginobili even tho he skrinks so ....... shit aint close love manu but that man aint no way near harden
@@kaioshin_0538 I can tell by how you type that you’re not very smart. And your argument revolves around stats and individual success and not team success. One has 4 rings and a gold medal against the USA and the other has regular season empty stats and not much else
Obi Wan Ginobili still to this day is the only sports jersey I have ever owned!
I was waiting for this since I am on this channel...than u so much.
Totally forget how talented this man was..
Overall manu was a beast coming off the bench with spurs
He is just fearless, he drives past 4 or 5 defenders in 1 play, he is so good at that.
You don’t see big celebrations or dances as you see nowadays. It’s just a guy doing it’s job, on a mission
Great video
Thanks brother!!!
With some of these buckets, take a look at Coach Pop who hated taking tough shots when they still had time to look for a better one and he’ll just look relieved Manu made it 😂
great video
Yessss!!!!
THANK YOUUUUUU
Ayeee we need his 05 season now too!
Call me crazy or a genius but if I had an opportunity to start a team with Prime Manu or Harden I’m going with Ginobiliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!
Exactly. Harden barely tries most of the time on defense, and has been mostly a bad playoff performer
Ginobili could’ve scored as much as Harden but he played with an all time top 10 and he sacrificed to win. I would take prime Ginobili over Harden it’s not even close
Agrred
Harden? pffff Manu>harden no fckng doubt.
Why crazy? That's just common sense.
My favorite
One of the Unsung Goats in the NBA!
Ginobiliiii
just give Manu a pick and roll with T.Duncan and some guys on the corners and you have magic on every play
HALL OF FAme for Manu.
Damn prime Manu was a problem...
Ultimate team player
Simply the best
Euro step trendsetter 💯💯💯
fun fact he had the highest regular season ppg of any spurs player that year!
damn DeRozan has a lotta his moves
Manu is one of a kind!!!!!!!
The goat
Finally
Majestic
MVP!!!
Grande Manu !!!!!!!
