Nimmo is a winning player; he wants to go out and win ball games. The Mets may not be interested in winning this year. So, they treat their prospects (Scott) with kid gloves. It's about development this year, not winning. They should be honest with their fans about that.
Perhaps the Mets actually need a GM.
They have an excellent GM. His name is David Stearns.
