    Dr. Tala, I want to sincerely thank you and your team!! I am a NICU nurse and a visual learner. I took my RNC-NIC Certification exam 10 days ago and I just found out I passed!! I have to thank you though because your videos are what helped me pass!! I watched majority of them and took so many notes!! You helped me so much and I just wanted to say thank you!!❤️ You are so amazing at teaching all of these NICU topics!!

      Hello! Thanks so much for the great suggestions- growth and development are so key in the NICU. Rheumatic fever affects older kids (or mothers of our babies) so I wouldn’t be right person to talk about it. Thanks so much for being here :)

    I wish you could discuss a case history...

      Yes- a lot more effective like that- we wanted to get the facts out first and then start with case histories.

    I absolutely love your content. I am an instructor in an NNP program, and I use your videos as supplemental material and to help me work out simpler ways to explain complex topics. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. In terms of future topics, I am sure you have a full plate but the treatment of a baby presenting with severe metabolic acidosis (rule out IEM vs encephalopathy) would be so helpful! Thanks!

      @TalaTalksNICU  Год назад

      Oh wow! That's so amazing Sally! That's quite an endorsement! A friend in an NNP program told me her preceptor had sent these videos to the group and it made our week! So the fact this has happened more than once is amazing!! We've started writing the IEM video- so hopefully we'll get this out soon (it definitely won't include detailed enzymatic steps! because, honestly, we've all run out of brain space to store something so google-able!)

    Great videos Tala, have learnt loads from this channel. I am a general anesthesiologist in Norway in a hospital which has 1500ish births (we take from 32 weeks) a year. We have no pediatricians on site so we cover neonatal resuscitation. I’d be really interested in a video on maternal/obstetric risk factors for neonatal problems, my training focuses more on spotting anesthetic problems with Mum than problems baby will have when they are born! Thanks again for the work you all do on the channel.

      Hello Dr. Yates! I love that specialties outside neonatology are watching these videos! It's really impressive you're covering these babies too. That is a great idea for a video- I will add it to our list- and I hope we can get around to it soon. Again- thanks so much for watching! Those babies are lucky to have you :)
