    Thank you for a very informative video. I have severe tricuspid valve regurgitation and I am due to have a Triclip procedure in the next week or two. I have a dual chamber pacemaker and have had three heart surgeries. It seems that I will be the first patient in Australia to have the Triclip procedure while also having a pacemaker lead travelling through the valve. Thanks to your work, and the wonderful team of doctors here in Brisbane, I will no longer be spending my days in bed. Thank you.

      @ It’s lovely to hear from you! I finally had my surgery on 22 August, by which time I was terribly unwell. The good news is that it went well, and I feel much better. The valve is now classified as moderately leaky, as opposed to severely leaky. The Cleveland Clinic is world famous and deservedly so. Your mum is in good hands. Wish her all the best from me. 😊

    • @flaminmongrel6955
      @flaminmongrel6955 Год назад +1

      cardiac arrest is always sudden it is mostly due to arrhythmia causing the heart to stop whilst the attack is an MI and it is gradual in its build up and presentation but in both cases if you ever notice a person with no pulse you start with the CPR doesn't matter how long he has been there for you do it 2 inches deep for the adult and you do it with the perfect rhythm and you either direct someone to call for help as you do it or you call for help and then begin.

    I’m one of the small group of other patients that has a pacemaker, I’m on my 8th one now and i Have 6 pacemaker leads left inside that crosses through the Tricuspid Valve, I’m now unable to walk more that 5 minutes without getting chest pain that goes to shoulders with shortness of breath and gently feeling weak enough that I have to stop walking and take GTN spray. I’ve been on 120mg verapermil SR twice a day for over 30 and things were fine until I had my last pacemaker replacement last year, that’s when I noticed I was struggling to walk without getting theses issues. My cardiac specialist has put me on 60mg imdur and it helps a bit but sometimes I still get issues when out walking...I’m due to have a Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram in a few weeks time, My question is: if my old pacemaker leads are causing the tricuspid valve issue what are my options?

    What's taking doing to understand this heart disease? I mean, heart doctors ans surgeons should know everything about tbe heart by now, after these last 60 plus years. Not knowing, not understanding this particular valve, and not knowing exactly how to repair this is inexcusable. It really is. Heart specialists should KNOW the heart inside and out, and be able to make these repairs OR schedule a complete heart transplant immediately long before it ever gets bad. Womens heart complaints are greatly neglected and ignored by cardiologists. It's a serious problem to tbe point of it being criminal medical negligence. There needs to be serious accountability.

However, the latest echo showed that she has now developed mild-moderate TR after the surgery. No worries! Just put your Faith in Jesus for Salvation and you'll have nothing to worry about.
      Our lives in this present world are but a vapor in time. What matters is where you're going when you leave this world which will be in Heaven as an immortal until the day you return to a new recreated earth under a new Heaven where sin and death no longer exist.
      In fact we will not have any memory of this present world nor our former life in it.
      Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ and be saved immediately if you haven't already done so.
      Remember...Jesus is God & Savior (John 1:1-14; Titus 2:13; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Revelation 1:1-9 The Alpha & Omega The Almighty). Yes, Jesus is Almighty God which God The Father exalted Him to when He completed his mission of providing Salvation to the entire world through the shedding of His sinless blood on the Cross.
