There's something about the rohan theme that makes me take a deep breath and stand up straight and hold my head high, feel incredibly ennobleing and righteous

This actually had me crying due to how beautiful it was. LoTR holds a very, very special place in my heart, with the music being one of the key factors. To hear the passion you put into this, it makes me so so happy knowing people still care about the movies.
I thought the original couldn’t get any “better or have an equal” but I was wrong it had me crying too especially that last minute
SO happy to read comments like this. I feel the same way. LOTR is so dear and special to me as well. Saw them in theaters as a little kid and watch the trilogy about twice a year

I watched video footage of how this legendary trilogy was filmed. I am shocked by how much effort, sacrifice, nerves and time it took to create these masterpieces. I wouldn't be able to work like that. I bow to every person who was directly or indirectly involved in the creation of these films. I was lucky to see this film as a child, so as the years go by, I appreciate these films more. They are associated with personal, intimate memories. I am glad that I live at this time, contemplating many works of art, creativity and human imagination. The comment sounds pathetic, sorry.
I felt exactly like you when I watched the making ofs.
The LOTR trilogy was an anomaly in its making. A folly carried by mad artists devoured by their work.
It made little sense in terms of risk/benefits.
But It's why the result is so insanely great, the more extreme the artists can go, the more extreme the result !

I thought RoP soundtrack was gorgeous! Bear McCreary is brilliant. Saw him talk very enthusiastically about it all on The Friendship Onion podcast with Billy Boyd and Dom Monaghan. He spoke with Howard Shore. Plus Shore did the opening theme.

one of the things music is supposed to do is to travel you places. I dont know about you guys but I listened to this the first time with eyes closed. And it did travel me. I saw Edoras so clearly. I saw palace of king Theoden I saw the horses and their horsemen. I saw the endless golden fields of Rohan. I saw Helms Deep. Then I watched the video like normal. Amazing work! The cinematography of the video is so pure that it almost made me believe you were actually in Rohan. videos like this make music and youtube go one step ahead in the correct direction. Good job to all that worked for this video!
