So I've been in deep depression for about 21 years now(I'm 35 years old today and I'm still struggling...) and I've never heard something beatiful like this before. It's the first time I see and hear the Erhu instrument, and I'm going to buy one when I've saved up enough money, because you get me inspired and cannot believe that I haven't heard about you before! Your music heals me in a way medication and therapy never could, so thank you for this beautiful compilation! =)

I'm sorry to hear you're struggling and I hope things can improve for you. I'm in a similar boat, except I have really bad anxiety. I first learned of it in college and would listen to it when things got bad - it was one of the only things that helped give me some calm. It's my favorite instrument partly for this, but also because I find it haunting and beautiful, and I recently started learning how to play it. I hope you can learn to play it one day too! I know that it is late to comment in this gergeous soundtrack, but this music compilation has altered the way I view Erhu this oriental instrument. I always thought that Erhu should be played in solo to emphasize its majestic, unique timbre, but this thing proved me wrong. With the addition of Erhu's tone note, the entire soundtrack is added a layer of nostalgia and sorrow, especially at 37:49 where he is playing Inuyasha - To Love's End, I can literally feel each note touching my soul. You're awesome, man! Keep on your work and inspire a generation perhaps?

I bought this album for myself and my son who turned me on to your work so beautiful. I've had this album for a year now I listen to it everyday either in my car or when I go to bed to help me relax and sleep what a gift thank you. The one song you added toward the end what could have been has such feeling and I was curious so I found out it came from a group called Sting and I listen to the recording but it was nothing like the recording you have here with Adrien Déquesnes. After reading so many of these comments they all saying the same thing from my heart. Your music and instruments are amazing coming from deep within with such emotion and feeling. I bought this album for myself and my son who turned me on to your work so beautiful. I've had this album for a year now I listen to it everyday either in my car or when I go to bed to help me relax and sleep what a gift thank you. The one song you added toward the end what could have been has such feeling and I was curious so I found out it came from a group called Sting and I listen to the recording but it was nothing like the recording you have here with Adrien Déquesnes. He sings it with such emotion You just feel the sadness and despair it is amazing So much better than Sting ever did it in my opinion. Thank you for your gift❤
