I discovered your work not so long ago via Instagram, and is fantastic. Not just the quality of the art and the curation of the way you present it on social media, but also how friendly and approachable you guys are. I am now enjoying your youtube channel as well ♥ keep up the marvelous work and thank you for sharing it with us.
Hi, Maria! Thank you so much for your lovely message! We’re glad you like our work. It will motivate us to create more art and to share it on social media.
How exciting! I bought a previous graphic novel from you, and often recommend you to friends. All the best with this new art book!
Oh, thank you so much for your support!!!
Marvelous work as always, you two! It's a tremendous pleasure seeing your art making process.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
This is such a pleasure to watch. Amazing work, BRAVO!!
Thank you!
The process was so lovely to watch! And definitely can't wait until I can buy the book!
Thanks a lot for your support!

Bonjour Eve,
Merci beaucoup pour ce gentil message.
Le tome 2 arrive bientôt. On espère que ça te plaira !
Wow I really want that book!🙀
Thanks a lot!
Really beautiful
I love it ^^
Thank you!
Ahhh I have been a fan on instagram, and now here! Magical, and takes me places I wish I could stay in forever. I have a question, how to you make it digital ? scanning?
Yes, scanning. But it's a long and difficult process: a scanned image looks faded and we have to manually correct every color until we get the original vibrancy back.
Excellent.
Superb
Thank you!
you should post these on twitter !

I posted these on twitter as well, if I remember well...
Nice drawing 🤗😊
Thank you!
Magnifique! Il est dispo librairie Maupetit à Marseille! Je vais aller y faire un tour!
Merci beaucoup !
Nice 😄🙏
Thank you!
Thanks for your wonderful videos! Could I ask - do you do your comic pages like this too? I'd like to do my drawings in this same way, however the problem I have is that when I put my sketch down on my light pad, I can't see through the paper enough to trace it precisely enough. Maybe the paper I am sketching on is too thick? If you had any advice i'd be so grateful. thanks again for sharing your amazing work.
Thanks for your message.
Yes, we use exactly the same method for comic pages.
We print the sketches with a strong contrast so the lines turn black. It makes it easier to see the sketch through the paper with the light pad. But even with that, the small details are not easy to trace. In the end, there's a lot of improvisation when tracing: we like to change a little bit the characters, to add a new background... It's good not to stick to closely to the original sketch: it's gives more life to the final result.
@@ateliersento Thanks for your reply! that's very helpful. I agree, your final lines have a lovely loose and lively feel to them. Thanks again for sharing your work and process!
Do you plan on having an English version of the book? Would like to order one but hopefully shipping overseas is possible. Love the work btw!! RUclips recommendations has not failed me!
Thanks a lot for the kind words!
This book is a trilingual edition which means that every text in the book is written in French, English and Japanese.
You can order the book on the publisher's site who ships worldwide: omakebooks.com/en/omake-manga/382-reves-de-japon-9782379890000.html
Atelier Sentô I didn’t know that it was Trilingual, thank you for the info!
dibujas hermoso!
Muchas gracias!
keep it up this content
Thanks. We will!
Merci!🙌🏽👏🏽👍🏽👌🏽
De rien ! :-)
Magifique
Merci beaucoup !
Kindly make frequent videos... Waiting for next video on tips
We'll try but it takes so much time!
C'est le main magnifique :)
😍
Depuis, on préfère éviter...

:-)
Great work! The rough sketches in the beggining, were they digital or actual watercolor?
Thank you! Everything (from the rough sketches to the final illustration) was done on paper with watercolor.
We only use computer for scanning and preparing the files for printing.
Amazing work. May I know what W&N watercolors set do you use? Thanks
Thank you! We use the "Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolors" because they're the easiest to find in France.
I from Malaysia and you drawing so Beautiful
Thanks a lot!
I’m inspired by you inspired by Japan, I’m Japanese so..
Thank you very much!
This is beautiful. As is your book. But, I was not able to see any subtitles. And will your book be available on Amazon soon or must they be ordered only from Omake books?
Really? It's strange, the subtitles should be there. Have you tried clicking on the little balloon (on the bottom right corner of the video): it should be underligned in red. And if it's still don't work click on the little cog and select "English" in the subtitle menu. I hope it will work.
About Amazon, I have no idea, sorry. It probably depends on where you live (Amazon France sells the book). The publisher's website seems to be the easier place to order it for people who live outside France: they ship worldwide.
@@ateliersento thank you. Will do.
WOW 😍😍🙈❤
So so BEAUTIFUL and Kawaiiii☺️💗🌸💫
Thank you so much!
It seems I can’t find it in English, is that version available at a different online store?
It is a trilingual edition so every text in the book is written in French, English and Japanese.
You can purchase it on the publisher's store: omakebooks.com/en/omake-manga/382-reves-de-japon-9782379890000.html
Feel free to ask if you need more info.
Very nice and inspiring. Did you ink the illustration after painting ? Merci
Thank you! The illustration was inked before painting, with an 8B pencil.
@@ateliersento Very interesting and wonderful result !
Bonjour ! Merveilleux travail
@@ateliersento d'accord merci poue votre réponse.
Lovely video, I'm guessing the subtitles aren't up yet?
Sorry, it took almost an hour to create the subtitles, but they're ready now! Thank you for your kind words!
@@ateliersento No worries, subtitling videos can be pretty painstaking 👍
Hi, what is better as outline, pencil or ink? Thanks!😊❤🙏🏻
You need to try both to know which one suits you best. For us, it’s 8B pencil ✏️ because the lines are more sketchy and organic. It gives a warmer look to the illustrations.
@@ateliersento ❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻thank you😊
Will there be English captions on your RUclips
Sorry, it took almost an hour to create the subtitles, but they're ready now!
@@ateliersento awesome and it's okay I'm patient just like the rest of us that appreciate your beautiful content 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😊😊😊😊☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
