We Are Magonia has instantly cemented itself as my favourite synth group. This is the feeling I've been looking for.
Saw this off to the side of a Mechanicus ost video and thought it looked quite cool.

It's even better when you know several things about the band.
First, it's a french group, and as a french myself I can only support them even more

Now that I "enlightened" your day, I'll go back listen to this album several more time
and the whole story of Magonia took place in Lyon, the group's home town. And I just noticed details of the city in the album cover. From left to right :
- the pencil-shaped building (aptly nicknamed "The pencil") which is the Part-Dieu tower
- the Incity Tower (nickname "the Eraser"
)
- The Basilica of Notre-Dame De Fourvière
it makes the artwork even cooler

You could check out Gor Flsh or the more recent Irving Force tracks like Violence Suppressor if you like the metal sound.

Uncanny Valley was GOAT dark synth though. GosT's Behemoth was also one of the albums that got me into listening to entire albums in the first place.
Carpenter Brut Trilogy is my fav.
I like how they bring those Feelings in there album. It starts whit dangerus and Action filled tracks and the last Song was kinda Hopless and done. The Album is telling a Story and i love it. For me, its a realy good Album! Thanks for that :D

In almost EVERY album like this, the intro to the main album is better than the rest of the album itself, but you’ve managed to slip into the small group of musicians who know how to carry the energy the first song brings into the whole album. Thank you, this was phenomenal.

When even the intro got you hooked
Imagine Puppet Combo makes a fast-paced arena shooter like Quake & Dusk but with horror elements.
That would be like putting that "empty server" horror game to a more action-like experience.
Like some run or die maze game with a lot of open fields and super-fast two-hit kill enemies with a slower turn rate than the player & super-fast players with reloadable guns but are *_JUST_*_ too slow_ for the enemies to catch up which would mean it'd feel like a nice breather from the chasing enemies in cramped hallway but the players are more easily catchable.
I can imagine how every enemy has it's own unique distorted scream, run & hunt patterns and attacks from different ranges.
Since it'll be fast-paced, there could be a feint glow in a corner to suggest that an enemy is in that row.
Got a Mandela Moment where it used to be "some people laughed, some people cried, most were silent" ... now, it's "few people laughed, few people cried, most were silent" anyone else feeling this?
This makes me think of when day breaks, and to a lesser degree, the red sea object

It's called Synthwave; There's tons of other artists out there with different styles. I'd suggest Scandroid if you like the heavier stuff and really good vocals.
Already mentioned them here but Gor Flsh and Irving Force are worth checking out if that's what you're into
