Thats cuz not even the hardcore mk fans recognized him without the green glow in his eyes. They made him so unnecessarily different looking its weird.

I think the reason why people weren't hype about the Mortal Kombat characters it's because we have been using them and playing them for a long time but guest character's especially Omni man, Homelander and Peacemaker are worth scream for
I 100% agree with this. They are the characters people get most hyped about because they aren't seen usually in any games and to see them added to Mortal Kombat is wild.
By far people get most excited for guest characters. Even though there is that small groups of people who don’t care for them, most people love guest characters. That’s why the kombat packs and the fighter packs from injustice reveal the guest character (or in this instance arguably the most anticipated one) last.

DC characters have no other chance at being playable in any other game. So why waste their chances on Mortal Kombat guests?
1 guest? Sure. But goddamn Raiden over someone like Static? At the very least just make Black Lighting and give HIM the Raiden skin instead of the other way around.
And DC and MK are so close that it is not even interesting when they crossover. TMNT and Hellboy at least had a wow factor. Both as a series crossover and gameplay implementation. Raiden was just ANOTHER MK Character out of many.

Because Homelander's greatest strength is surviving the tsar bomb which he's stated to be able to do

@@higg4209 homelander is no where near as durable as supes or omni man, he has way less strength omni man can destroy planets and fly at light speed where supes can destroy entire realitys, has tons of powers and also travel faster than the speed force the thing the flash has. also homelanders flying abilities are pretty weak, its shown alot in the show and especially the comics that he has to push off the ground for flight and to hold things in air, where as supes and omni man make there own gravitational field around them making them able to move in any direction at any speed, superman also has mommy issues lol

The silence with Ermac is reasonable, we are not used to seeing him without his mask. Even when he had his mummy design he had his face covered a little more, in Ermac's case they changed his design a lot, I myself didn't know who he was until I saw his characteristic green glow in his eyes, not to mention that now his suit He has more black than red, the truth is that he is very changed, he doesn't blame people for not recognizing him.

I literally didn't know what was going on 😂😂. Was it a Fortnite exclusive, an animated project, but no it was the lastest downloadable roster pack for the next MK release.... it's like an Oscar nomination or in sports terminology it's literally the All Star Game or Pro Bowl selection for the Best action characters in popular fiction translated in the most recognizable fighting game of all time you could ever want and it is FU🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦ng awesome 😂😂😂😭😭😍😍😍. But we all know Mighty McKnight could beat John Cena Peacemaker, Omni-man AND HomeLESSander as a DLC 😎
