This seems like a great format, Artosis. Even when you've exhausted all bad maps, hosting games with pre conditions and having viewers duke it out to their displeasure is very entertaining.
One of the best things about this series is that you'll occasionally see 2 or 3 awful moves that wouldn't occur in high level play. Makes each endgame unpredictable! Also, a TvP with Zerg music is a good time.
I love that Artosis takes every chance he can get to try and convince the chat that Protoss is OP and you need some kind of galaxy brain understanding of Starcraft in order to play Terran it's honestly my favorite part of the stream
I just need to say how much I love these videos. I'm like the biggest map nerd ever. I've read every Liquipedia map article looking for weird Siege Tank imbalances, starting location differences and stuff like that. Some maps are beyond belief. Others actually got played in tournaments which amazes me. Thank you for the awesome content, I know it's niche and not making you a billionaire so I need to write this. You're the man. Been following you since you became known on TL.net and always thought you were the guy who was most like me and instantly became my favorite. (Yes I even rooted against Day 9 and for you!)
I'll agree with 90% of the comments already, this format is extremely entertaining to watch. They always have such different skill levels it provides for some interesting choices. Keep 'em coming Arty !

These are awesome, but the last couple ones have had a few really bad newbs playing and that kind of ruins the game a bit. Should have to be somewhat decent at The Craft to play these. For example/ one guy last game had 3000+ minerals and maybe 6+ hatches and went over two minutes without building any of his larva.
One strategy is to turtle and bank as much as you can. Do not spend until you have to. Perhaps he was playing the long game? Or perhaps you are right and he was just bad. Either way I wouldn't discount people of all skill levels in a FFA that allows allying, backstabbing, teaming, etc

He was being attacked from the south and he was incredibly slowly building an expansion at the north of his base. He had virtually no units and well over 3k. All game he sucked. And he isn’t the only one one... Several players have competed and looked like it was their first online game ever. ... Btw this game was a lot better in terms of skill :) Don’t need people to be pros but need them to have a basic understanding.

I'm definitely a BW scrub so I'm sure there's a good answer; wouldn't Valks be a decent Carrier counter? The AoE would do really well against interceptors right?
I don’t know the exact math but I think the interceptors fly wide enough that they avoid most of the splash damage from valks, and the high base armor of carriers means that they take forever to die from the low damage per shot of valks. So you don’t connect with enough shots on interceptors, and you don’t do enough damage to the carriers themselves.
Every five seconds I keep saying out loud "You fucking idiot! What are you DOING!" fully knowing I would stand no chance in these FFAs. At least I'm not flying my carriers and arbiters into AA blindly for no gain. Also 42:22 yes I do like what I see 👀💦💦
You know @artosis i wanted terran to win but when he didn't drop the mining base i was like gg his dead and then blue just suicides his recall and run his carriers into like 20 turrets

What was up with that ending? Blue protoss flying his carriers over turrets, but then on top of that, green Terran somehow didn't notice and never sent any goliaths up to finish them off? Weird.
@@andychatsab Oh, that makes sense. Play looks worse when there's no fog of war, and you're able to observe whatever you want at your leisure. Much different when you're actually playing, there's fog of war, and lots of other things to focus on.

Are you a dumbo? You can't a move with carriers. You have to target Goliaths with them and move them constantly. Goliaths generally have more micro though, until you reach a certain number of them, then they actually have far less.
Story of my life. I was in this stream watching and he said no ffas today gonna do UMS then I come back and he did an ffa that I once again missed out on lol.

the best thing is he does a total role reversal when commentating gsl/sc2 and spends half the time paying out people who complain about protoss.

Best FFA so far. Alliances, Betrayal, carriers, rushes, mass muta vs mass turret + goliath, a fully mined out map, and no totally lazy turtles.
