Im from Westmead. I do some solo 4wdriving sometimes. It would be fun if it's morethan one rig going out there. Im running Prado 150 series with 2" lift and winch.
Great inspiring video. Do you have any Google map directions? Also wondering if this track can be done with a stock Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. What ground clearance is required? Thanks!
Hi Frits, Sorry for the late replay. Your Cherokee should be sweet. I will recommend it do it in dry conditions and follow Blackout mountain trail half way of the Pinnacle fire trail, apparently the most challenging part of the Pinnacle is at the end of the track, near Sunny Corner. All google directions are named in the video. Lots of signs all over the main track. Have fun
Hi David, The diggings is a good spot big and open, only facilities are dropdown toilets (1 toilet ) Next time I'll go back I will definitely camp further south following the Turon river like the Woolshed Flat campground. I hope the video was helpful!
Sorry but this is in the Lithgow area and is not near Sydney it’s out of Sydney. And us locals don’t like our area being associated with Sydney sorry but it pisses us off.. having said that I enjoyed your video 🥰
Hi I never mentioned Lithgow in my video.. specifically called Turon river! Yes it is close to Sydney. 150km it’s not far at all! I am making a series for of 4wd tracks “near” Sydney…obviously because there are no 4wd tracks in Sydney!!! Thanks for your comment
What a flop comment. Never mind the hard work he's put into making a great video etc. Hope Lithgow being referred to as "near Sydney" didn't spoil your arvo.
@@badlordboris6238 why because we are sick and tried of being referred as in the Sydney area! When we are not I lived here 59 years mate and have seen what the idiots have done to our area that come in droves to 4wd especially up on the Newnes plateau and the Garden s of Stone and the Turon area and other places in our area every weekend, hell been 4 wheel driving for years and have see the disrespect that they show in our beautiful area countless of times am not against anyone coming to our area at all what I am against is the continuing Association with it been in the Sydney area went its not and the total disrespect by entitled lots from the city that think they can do what they want and where they want.. so you think it’s ok for them to come up here and dump their rubbish etc In these places. Leave camp site trashed and tear up roads that put their for people to go to places of interest but can’t because they roads are in passable, cut locks off people gates on their properties and trespass because they want to go 4wd and think nothing of it let livestock out or pull fences down so they can cut wood on peoples properties.. wonder if was your property being abused like this would you be so understanding!! I think not !! by the way it’s free country can say what I want. by the sounds of it you are probably one these entitled lot. you have nice day NOT!!
