Hi! so happy I stumbled upon this video! thank you first of all for sharing with us all this precious info. Can you please share with us some tips on how you made your head rest tool for your tripod?
Useful tutorial, capably presented, with no distracting hype. Well done, Max! Great, easy to follow step-by-step approach through to edits. Showing several ways to keep a “steady head” on your shoulders 😁 for the shoot, a real plus. Some butcher shops still sell select animal heads (e.g., lamb) w/eyes intact - might be another option for a model. No kidding. All the best for the new year. Look forward to your 2021 posts.
I seem to be unable to get the shot ... Om-1, 60mm macro, fl700 speedlight, iso 640 ... f5.6 snd 1/100s ... all the ingredients are there, but my image is too dark
I stopped about half way into the video. There are things called periods (and other punctuation marks) and paragraphs. Their use would improve your narration greatly. No need to be so rushed. Moving forward so quickly risks important ideas from being absorbed by the viewer.
Stumbled upon your video and good advice with the CPL, I never thought of it! Oftentimes, I have problems with reflection from the light source.
Came here from PetaPixel. Glad I did!
So am I! Glad you liked the video :)
Nice tutorial!!!
