Tom yum soup
As soup is a very important part of your lunch and dinner it should be tasty nad increasing your appetite and if this is condition then you will find the indo-chinese or thai soup to be the tastiest and flavourfull. The soup are traditionally made with various flavored broth made with meats and vegetables with lots of seasonings. So today i am making a classic spicy thai soup which is usually non vegetarian but in india it has a lot lot people are vegetarian it has also get vegetarian versions which are popular in indian restaurants.
So for the recipe i have chopped some carrots cabbages mushrooms and sauted then with some chopped garlic and ginger. Now after the vegetables are little softer time to add the vegetable stock and the seasoning like salt pepper chili paste and some tabasco sauce lime juice. Typically it is seasoned with tom yum paste but as i am making the vegetarian version i am not using that because it normally has some traces of prawns and fish.
After the seasoning is done i will simmer it for five minutes and some hot with some chopped coriander and some lemon zest on top of it.
