You should use the clear silicone caulk instead; it's pure silicone, far superior and the same price (sometimes cheaper). Still, you got a great impression with that item you were molding👍.
There's really no need i think. Just use as much as you want, the flour is to prevent the silicone to stick everywhere. I used to do this, but i used the clear one. And i wet the silicone caulk just enough to be active, then knead it with some cheap starch.
I wouldn't suggest baking...baking hardens polymer...so the mold wouldn't be malleable or easily moveable in order to remove it from the object. It may crumble. Just my guess. Not sure tho
@@ashchan30 You can actually bake polymer clay in open silicone slump-molds, but don't use the kind of silicone in this video, because it's a poor material for the job. Use the clear stuff, which is all silicone. Always let the baked polymer clay cool down in the mold and then take it out. You can achieve some excellent results, because proper silicone can handle oven temperatures easily.

If I want to make a mold for a 3D figurine, how can I make the mixture more liquid so it covers Al the parts and corners of my figurine? Would I be able to use the mold many times?
@@jeymous Will it be colored with black marker at the end? If I want to color some specific lines on the mask made of silicone and starch, because I tried the marker on silicone only, it was like oil on a mask that does not stick to it, and the black color was gone, will the matter be different with silicone and starch?
@@jeymous I will not wear the form, I will put silicone paste and starch in a thin layer inside a hollow mold of gypsum so that it becomes a mask, will it work like this?
