Do you need to use any heat protectant to avoid heat damage? Or does this product protect you from heat damage itself?
RevAir has internal temperature sensors to maintain even heat (158 degrees low/220 degrees on high) significantly below the temperature threshold of which hair is subject to heat damage and will not impact your natural curl pattern. The Reverse-Air technology does all the work by sealing the cuticle around your products, so you can use less product and expect better results ❤

How well does it work on shoulder length thick natural hair? Will it tangle?
RevAir works great on shoulder length hair & will not tangle! RevAir has 7 different tension settings & 3 heat options to find your perfect settings ❤
Should leave ins and moisturizers or oils be applied before or after ?
Good question! If you own the Original device, products do need to be oil-free due to the composition of the plastic. The New RevAir model does not have the oil restrictions 👍

But what about the edges & kitchen 👀👀
RevAir has small holes on the Wand that emit heat and the reverse airflow gently dries and stretches roots. A slight “dabbing” motion over the roots is helpful to get them all dry 😊
She used the Revair with a heat setting on 2 and tension on 7. Isn't that too high with all of that tension? I use the heat on 2 and tension on 3. I have used heat on 1 and tension on 3. I have 3b in the back and 4a everywhere else.
Each head of hair is different! Higher settings will provide more tension, but not all hair types - even curly and coily - need higher tension for best results. Characteristics including density, texture, thickness, length, and hair health play a role in how the hair will react to reverse-air tension and heat settings ❤
The tension isn’t really strong enough to cause damage, IMO. If you have 3C, and 4a hair, perhaps lower tension settings will work better for you, but you have to consider that aside from the fact that people have different hair types, and different type combinations, the results that they are seeking will also vary from person-to-person. Some people may not want their hair to be super-straight, while others may. Bottom line is do what works best for YOU.
