Thanks for this! I’m getting ready to do this to my 05 Suburban! ❤️ Mechanically and body wise ,my 05 is in great shape, but the interior has been through 4 boy, several animals, and numerous road trips! It’s time for a refresh! 😂 Plus is like the darker carpet and the 2 toned door panels 😍
Sounds about right. It was so nice to also clean every part as I was installing it knowing that the vehicle was going to be super clean on the inside once I was done putting in the interior color I liked. Good luck and take your time. Its not that hard and very rewarding.
Awesome about to swap my 01 suburban with either Escalade or Tahoe interior parts plus with 313k miles on it, 5 kids and years of being a work truck it’s ready for a remodel don’t can make its journey to 500k in style
Thanks. Its surprisingly easy to gut the entire interior out of these things. This is the 4th one I have done and its nice having a fully clean interior once your done.
I took everything out of my $200 Gambler 500 2001 Tahoe as it had the darker interior and swapped it with the interior from my 2001 Yukon that was sporting the in my opinion the ugly skin colored interior.
All the front seats out of the Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Sierra, Silverado, Escalades are all the same. The back seats are only different between the lengh of the vehicle. Meaning rear Suburban and Yukon XL are the same and Yukon and Tahoe are the same. Hope this helps.
@@PostalRedneck even if it didn’t help him it helped me 😂 I just got two front 06 slt captains seats for my 04 Tahoe I been trying to find videos to see if it’ll bolt on so I’m glad to hear that it will, now I just need to know if the connections are the same. My passenger is manual for the controls but I heard you can wire it up from the driver seat
Search your local pick and pull lots or do what I did and buy a whole vehicle and swap interiors. Its not that hard to do and only took me a few hours.
Its not black per say its more of a dark gray. GM calls it graphite. I think it just looks black next to the lighter gray on the panels. Here is a video showing the color options for these year trucks. ruclips.net/video/M05ZLsmA218/видео.html
I just use a good 6 point 15mm on the front nuts and a 6 point 11mm on the rear bolts. Make sure to keep the socket straight and use lots of down force.
2000-2002 and 2003-2007. You can do a 2001 with a 2005 interior but there are quite a few differences. Also Yukon seats in 2000-2002 have a distinct pattern on them. The 2003-2007 are the same pattern as the tahoe, Suburban and silverados.
Its from Arnold Sales next to Merchant Automotive. I bought it about 15 years ago for around $350. Everyone in my family owns one. They work very well. Its just a wet vac.
Why? The head liner was in great shape and honestly it dont take long to remove the few panels that would stop me front doing it at a later time if need be.
Great video!!! Pupper is nice as well! A little helper haha!

Very cool. You make it look easy
Thank you! Cheers!

I did a video on installing the Denali center console into my 2002 Tahoe. Its a nice upgrade. Good luck with your project.
Holy crap man that's impressive i love the nbs tahoe/Yukon and I seen some clean interior but youre taking it to another level
Thanks. Its surprisingly easy to gut the entire interior out of these things. This is the 4th one I have done and its nice having a fully clean interior once your done.
Looking at you working Makes me wanna do the same thing. Great job bro
I was shocked at how easy it was. Didnt take too long and im happy to have the nicer interior color in my Yukon.
You sure make it look easy. I’ll definitely do it on my truck this summer 👍🏽
About time with a new video
You be shhh. Dont make me come back to work and bug you.
hahhahahaha
Great Content 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks!
Question did u get new door panels or did u just spray paint them
I swapped the whole interior from my 2001 Tahoe to my 2001 Yukon.
Nice 🙌🏾
Not as hard as you would think and I love the darker interior.
How u did u find interior in such good shape ??
Got very lucky. Its not every day you see them that clean.
Did you paint the panels on c and d
Nope everything was just swapped from one to the other.
Where'd you get everything? Carpet and door panels?
I took everything out of my $200 Gambler 500 2001 Tahoe as it had the darker interior and swapped it with the interior from my 2001 Yukon that was sporting the in my opinion the ugly skin colored interior.
I didn’t know the Tahoe interior could just swap over :o I have a 04 Yukon what year(s) Tahoe do I look for to for swaps?
Any 2003-2006 will swap from tahoe to yukon for you. Almost everything from a 2000-2002 will swap over other than most of the dash and center console.
Hey I was wondering i have those GMC Yukon seats in thumbnail was wondering if the Tahoe seats would fit ?
All the front seats out of the Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Sierra, Silverado, Escalades are all the same. The back seats are only different between the lengh of the vehicle. Meaning rear Suburban and Yukon XL are the same and Yukon and Tahoe are the same. Hope this helps.

Glad it helped. As for the connections im not sure if all vehicles come with the wiring under the seats regardless of options or not. Good luck.
How can I get those black panel need to do rhis

@@PostalRedneck never seen the black interior on the tahoes I'll look into the yukon next time thanks

Where’d you get your tool to remove the seats at? I’m looking to do a leather swap in my 02.
I just use a good 6 point 15mm on the front nuts and a 6 point 11mm on the rear bolts. Make sure to keep the socket straight and use lots of down force.
@@PostalRedneck thanks bro! Preciate ya
No problem. Good luck with your build!
Where are the Silver Lake jump videos from a week or so ago?
Im so far behind on videos its going to be some time before I get all that edited and out.
Question what years for the interior can I swap with the Yukons?
2000-2002 and 2003-2007. You can do a 2001 with a 2005 interior but there are quite a few differences. Also Yukon seats in 2000-2002 have a distinct pattern on them. The 2003-2007 are the same pattern as the tahoe, Suburban and silverados.
👍👍👍👍👍

What model steamer vac is that? rent or own?
Its from Arnold Sales next to Merchant Automotive. I bought it about 15 years ago for around $350. Everyone in my family owns one. They work very well. Its just a wet vac.
Bingo. #1😀
Nice! 👏👏👏
Yeah that it. I’m doing it too. That ran in my Yukon is nasty looking
Its not as bad as you would think swapping everything around.
U Should Of Done The Head Liner First...
Why? The head liner was in great shape and honestly it dont take long to remove the few panels that would stop me front doing it at a later time if need be.
