- So it's been a bit since I've posted a video on my Chevy Suburban, and I've had a ton of footage I never did anything with. Prior to all the custom work, I've had the truck for years and even learned how to drive in it. Here's the build from start to finish and a full walkaround of the vehicle for full effect.

Love lifted Suburbans!!!
I know this build was a long time ago and you've moved on to other things but this video helped inspire me too really put some work into my 2002 Suburban. It had always had Amazon LED tails and DRL headlights with a few performance mods (Built 4l60e, Longtubes,Catless Y with a magnaflow, self ported intake and a short ram air intake) but never really gave it the love I wanted too.
After making some employment changes and freeing up some money, I decided after watching this video too many times too finally go all in. 6" lift, 34s, bronze wheels, adjustable rear control arms, adjustable rear track arm, upgraded front upper control arms, paint matched bumper, projector headlights, yellow projector foglights, true dual exhaust with an x pipe and spintech 9000s plus rust repair. It's gonna be sick and I'm stoked.
I owe it all too you for motivating me too create the ultimate dad mobile haha
Wheel & tire size?
You've officially convinced me to do this to my Yukon. Thank you
How did you do the remote start
Looks clean as hell👍👍
dam i want a lifted one that year. i miss my old one. so clean!
Whenever I take my dads 2004 Chevrolet Suburban after he retires, I am going to do a C1500 to K1500 frame swap, a 4L60E to an Allison Transmission swap, a 5.3 liter V8 to 6.0 liter V8 or 8.1 liter V8 swap, a full on dent removal, a cat-eye front end swap, a Denali rear bumper swap, a tail light swap, factory looking pocket style fender flares, a full on interior make over, a Z71 roof rack, a badge delete, a new exhaust system, a new key fob, a train horn, towing mirrors, a new steering wheel with a Trailblazer air bag cover, an aftermarket radio that looks factory, a 3 inch lift, a set of 20 inch rims with 35 inch tires, an LED light bar, full LED lighting, under glows, and many more things to come
Sounds like it'll be an awesome build!
Yea it dose
I NEED to see this build
Looks hella nice 💥 definitely needa add an exhaust to it
Where you get them fender flares? & did you modify them to fit? I'm looking for a 2007 suburban
Dude. I’m actually looking at a Burb black also and was tryna figure out what to do to it. U just made my day. Gotta get it and lift it!!
Wow mine is close to looking like yours just gold, I got the side steps for mine as well I just need to install them along with fender flares, how much was your remote start for?
How did you set up remote start
Have same truck but tahoe, lifted with 20's and even on mine the headlights never fit even.. What model alarm is that ?
Badass!!! I have a 2001 one and I want to do this! Great video man!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🍻🍻🍻 do u have a link for the remote start?
Replacing the fender liners would have made a world of difference. Also hitting the exposed frame with a little satin black paint.
I need to do that with mine myself
Looks amazing
what brand light housings?
Did you do any inner fender modifying at all? Especially the front tires? I would he concerned about fender rub. Do you also recall how much space you had between the inside wall of the rear tire and the fender wall? Also, what is the exact size of the tire?
Have you ever swap or remodel for dash panel
I just got the light and the same grill in my 5.3 suberban! Just trying to find the bottom pair of headlights and also taillights.... And I need to restore the bumpers.....
Quick question not sure if your going to see this but how much was the lift it self a price range
Looks great man!

Question where can i get a remote start like that one
Got this one from car toys, they have options for remote start, vehicle security and can even install it for you 👍🏼
She’s a beaut!!
Where did you get the remote start
Car Toys, they actually have a few different options so you can play around with the features and budget
Jus bought one from my aunt this build got me 😮💨❤️🤞🏾 must have
Is that 6 inch lift or bigger?
Excellent....I have 3 tahoes I'm about to start working on 01 03 and 07 😱. All are running tagged and inspected just tired of only maintaining them. At the point of selling and decided HELLL NOO were gonna do em RIGHT!
That's awesome, good luck man!
Looks nice bro
What part of Texas are you from?
Nicely done sir slowly but surely I'm working on my vehicle I don't have that I have a 07 Chrysler Aspen 5.7 hemi he's got it 2 months ago back tail lights tanning not working on a chrome delete hopefully this week and waiting for my headlights to come in the mail this week
Sounds awesome!
Im thinking about lifting my suburban, is there any problems with highway conditions? And does it affect turning radius?
YES!💡Those Rough Country lift kits are cheap for a reason😕 If you're getting it for off-roading then they're fine but they cause a hell of a "ROUGH" ride on the streets, especially on the freeway, i learned the hard way😞 If you want a good smooth Cadillac style ride then go BDS or Fab Tech and make sure to get the coilover version, trust me you'll be very happy with how it handles and rides👍👍👍
Beautiful I want mine like this
🔥🔥🔥 Beautiful
Qué tamaño dé aros y llantas tiene y tú subiste la Chevrolet para poner las gomas y aros o la dejaste de fabrica
Holy shit. Beauty and a beast
Did it rub full turn?
Respectfully it’s a beautiful Burban!💪🏾
And how much was it to do that
dam i drive a tahoe and im still working on getting the wheels im only 14 so what u did in this vid is what i wnna do its nice af and looks hella mean
thanks! sounds like a plan man good luck!
Good lookin Suburban. My son has an 04 Yukon and is wanting to do the same thing. Is yours a 4wd or 2wd? Also where did you get the lights and grill?
I have those parts linked in the description box along with the lift kit, side steps and some of the other upgrades. This one was just a 2wd
I have a Chevy Tahoe and I want to start modding it thank you!
how much did the whole set up cost you?
What where the price for the things u brought it bcz I have suburban as well I’m wanna do the thing
The bulk of the parts are in the description box 👍🏼
How much did you paid for the lift?
Nice what remote start did you have
Clifford brand, I can’t remember the specs of it but its the package with remote start and upgraded security system with door and tilt sensors
Bro is u could give me some advice on this truck i just got one just like it. But it’s a
Stock lmk what to upgraded!!!
He just did in the video.
How much did you sell it for?
will those fender flares fit a 05 tahoe?
The fronts should but not the rears, the rear doesn’t have a big enough gap between the door and the wheel well for these so you’d need different ones
Very nice
What size lift was that again? I didn't quite catch that.
6 inch
Hows the ride quality on a 6 inch lift?
Really good I would say, took bumps and patchy roads really easy, but it also comes down to the wheel and tire set up you run.
What a beauty
I have an 02 would the same parts work?
Yes
So nice
How much money you need for do that?
Bro she looks so sinister!!! Where did u get the lift kit from I have a 01 I wanted to do the same just didn’t know a good place to get the parts
It's a rough country lift kit!
Omg that is freaking PIMP there wow wow wow
Did u add to exhaust? It sounds louder than normal?
Nah I sold it before I got to it, it was just a really nice cold start!
@@DitoCardona took off side steps.....big difference!
@@coffeedollsvp that’s awesome! Definitely a good start!
Ima have it one day one day ima have it one day 😩
Was the surburnan 4x4
I miss my old 04. Thing was falling apart but ya cant beat a v8
What size are the rims and tires do you remember by chance
The wheels are 20x12 and the tires are 35/12.50/20
I’m running 285/45/R22 on my 03 suburban.
Nice👍🏽
Question bro, did you have to wire the halos?
I did not, the halos are part of the wiring assembly so its plug and play
@@DitoCardona Thank you!
I already ordered lights an that same grill
Why did you end up selling it?
Nice
What size tires are them ??
35s
@@DitoCardona would I have to kitlift mine up for 35s ?
Where did you get your parts from bro???
Parts are from summit racing, eBay and a store by Dallas called street dreamz customs!
@@DitoCardona what’s the wheel and size?
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hey. have you specified links to spare parts, have a question?
1. for clearance, all that is indicated was enough?
2. What do you need to buy?
They did replace a part but I don’t exactly remember what it was, but it was only a couple hundred and didn’t add any time to the pickup. Everything we needed came from the lift kit, but I’d double check with a shop to see if some parts need to be upgraded if the stock ones are worn out. Some of the bumper was trimmed to allow clearance for the tires at a full turn but overall clearance didn’t have any problems.
Question. Did you paint the front dash or did you just take off the factory coating?
Painted it!
@@DitoCardona ... How did you paint it. Looks good
@@superior3384 it’s pretty simple just time consuming. Start by disassembling the dash and organizing the pieces, then sand them down a bit to give the paint a better chance to adhere and depending on what you’re painting there’s paint specific for fabric and vinyl and others for plastics. You can finish with a clear coat if you want some extra protection and just reinstall the pieces in reverse of how you took them off. Hope this helps!
@@DitoCardona ok thank you. I'm definitely going to do it. I hope it comes out good. I appreciate you getting back to me. I'm subscribing to your channel. I like your truck.
@@superior3384 I appreciate it! Good luck and one last tip, go for multiple light coats rather than a few heavy ones, primer helps too but a good amount of paints nowadays have primer in them already 👍🏼
Sick ass ride. Def needs a tip on that exhaust tho
Do tips on the exhaust do anything to make the vehicles drive better or anything at all?
@catherineharris4746 nah but they do change the sound and look
So sick. Throw a ceramic coating on the faded plastic trim and it will make them look new again
Would anyone recommend a 6inch lift if someone lives in a city (philly) and use their vehicle everyday
I actually used this suburban every day, I don’t live directly in the city but I would take it there pretty consistently. If you’re comfortable driving it in smaller areas and have access to spacious parking then it’d be all good. If parkings more sparse then it can get finicky but still manageable. And the casual bill of gas is another thing to consider.
I’m in Philly and drive the suburban everywhere and a tundra and drive bigger vehicles for work even in south Philly so you should be ok
🤘🤙
I rebuilt a 2002 Tahoe it looks bad ass I painted it and redid the interior lift wheels and tires the whole 9 yards and now I’m trying to sell it but nobody wants to pay for the upgrades
I feel that, I was in the exact same situation. Luckily for me a family member wanted it so I was able to go that route. But yeah it is a little more difficult on that note so I wish you luck man, sounds like a great build 👍🏼
@@DitoCardona yes it is it runs awesome but I’m not going to give it away it’s worth more to me to keep it as a back up vehicle
@@DitoCardona I’m literally selling it for the money I put in it I’m pretty much giving them the Tahoe for free there just paying me for the work and upgrades
