Trappe Flying House! Preparation for Trans-Atlantic balloon flight! Casas Yes

I flew a house once, in the deep blue skies of Mexico.
Actually building, and flying, a cluster this large proved that we can actually build a towering cluster of helium balloons large enough to carry me across the Atlantic Ocean, in manned flight, using only Wind, Helium, and Hope.

What are those large multicolored sacks inside of the “house”? I’m curious, and also just completely fascinated at the kind of bravery a person must possess in order to dream of things like this and then do them!! Just amazing.

The sacks inside the house are bags of sand. If the aircraft is descending, and I want to slow the descent, arrest the descent-- or if I want to initiate a climb, I pour over sand. (I don't drop the whole bag; I pour out sand, and it scatters in the wind below.) That makes the system lighter, and we fly on.
