The thing is giving evos to already bad cards has its own problems: 1. It discourages the devs from buffing the regular card to solve the core issue with the card (wizard evo is a great example) 2. After the evo gets nerfed, the bad card falls back into uselessness (wizard is a great example) 3. If giving evos to cards with low usage is their strategy, eventually only cards with high usage will be left 4. Even if the devs try to give evos to low usage cards, as a gaming company they need to plan their updates months in advance. Its possible they planned dart gob evo when it had low usage rate.

They ruined the main concept of confusing the opponent. What's the point of using evo barrel if your opponent can see which one is real and which one is fake? lmao
@@itsbishop2285 imo it wasn't a game breaking evo itself unlike evo pekka,evo knight or evo archers. The decks which were created surrounding evo barrel were too strong and perfect for dual lane pressure

Logbait uses dart goblin and since they are gonna nerf evc skeletons and evo ice spirit, everybody is gonna play evo dart goblin and evo cannon. Another over powered card that didn’t need an evo, this was done to milk mid ladder for money to upgrade one of the most popular cards in the game. This card could have used a nerf, it was everywhere in the tourney.

I don't think evolutions are the problem, the problem is the game as a whole. Supercell killed the game with pay2win Brawl stars has more hypercharges than clash royale has evolution, and you can still enjoy the game as a F2P player
Not commenting on the dart goblin for now since I cant quite place it but the evo barrel nerf is insane - I dont see the value of ever using it now? I just dont really see any point in using it now since its very easily distinguishable.
