now that terrain makes justice to the bike, proper downhill and freeride, twisty trails, high speed sections, some jumps, so much variety and obviously scott is such a good and skilled rider it makes it look easy. Amazing video, loved the quality and the "elk" hahaha

It is super expensive... You can always pedal if you know the trail heads!

That looked friggen amazing... and with no gloves lol. If there was something like that near where I live, I would have tears of joy every time.
It is with videos like this that I wish mountain bikes had multiple sensors and trackers to tell you speed, compression, g-force, bike angle, altitude, descent angle, heart rate etc... anything that might add to this to make it even more awesome in portraying what it takes to do this sport.

Some of them it was blind entirely and then others had a run or two down them already...
Some top riding Scotty and the new GoPro hero 7 with the gimble has captured it really good.

The Ransom is AWESOME, I absolutely love it. Riding it with 27.5 at the moment and waiting for 29! I'll do a indepth video on it soon...

I have had four encounters of the moose variaty. I am positive they are of the cat family because they do not listen when you tell them to get the hell off the trail.

pucker moment for sure! My son got hit by a deer. I've seen him almost hit a flying turkey. I have black bears a plenty here but I'd hate to hit one of those. Probably wind up being a bad day.

Yes and it's great but I prefer the style of the gimbal!

He's sponsored with Scott not "forced". My comment was: out of the Scott bikes he owns and rides - the new Ransom is probably his fav. It's just a guess since that bike is a mixture of enduo and downhill in one bike.

It is my favourite but also the only one I brought to Canada! :) But it is a frikkin' awesome bike...
So this is without a gimbal? If it is that hero 7 is insane
It's a gimbal, of you look when he is making burms, you rotate with the body bud the video is still flat, it is not moving with the body
It's with the Gimbal, stability as you'll have seen from some of the POV is insane but I prefer the gimbal for body positioning and staying centered makes you feel like you are part of the ride!

An Elk/Moose is the same thing in Europe. In America/Canada they use the word Elk for a Wapiti deer.

I wouldn't say it's bad, I watched it on my Galaxy Note 9. Playback was in 1080p, but I did notice it was glitchy occasionally. All in all Scotty's content is badass!
