There were some cuts in this specific video. His best time on Strava is around 14 mins. 7km with a pace of around 28-29 kph but it's probably just a sustained pace without going full gas. For a 6 mins, you would need to go around 50 kph. Probably not easy if alone. With a couple of teammates though it would be much more reachable.
@@Illyrian_Adventures I mean yeah a unrestricted ebike is like a moped, you can probably do 50 kph constantly. On a muscular bike and solo without teammates to rotate, maintaining 50 kph for 6-7 mins is a huge amount of watts.
I live in Mexico City and ride my bike on the F1 track a few times a month, and it’s nice to know that Valtteri also makes race car noises while riding the tracks haha

This is great. I think the technical bits, like what Bottas is thinking about as he rides the track, would be interesting to hear more of. I don't mind hearing the more generic "track elevation" stuff, it's just something we as viewers hear the commentators say at the start of like every session.

Great video, although the camera viewpoint made me nervous sometimes... I only biked in Interlagos, I would love to get the chance to do it in other tracks.
It must be pain to go uphill from eau rouge (or whatever the spelling) but it looks so fun going back down 70mph on a bike. But man this really shows how good stamina drivers like Bottas have, looks like he wasn't even phased by the uphill.
Hope valtteri can do this for all the other races, it’s fun to watch
