Very cool. That AJE bike is a beauty. I also liked the 51fifty guy talked about what was done to the motors. They never tell you what has been done to the motor on factory bikes. 976 looks like my bike. very relate-able, respect to that Josh Greco for putting in the blood sweat and tears!
I remember when even the pro riders raced out of Ford e350 box trucks. I got autographs Langston, Stanton, Ward, Cooper, Bradshaw etc... Right behind their trucks on folding tables. Camel supercross back then, you could leave a race with a free carton of smokes too!
I remember the old days dragging my one and only CR250 from Starwest to Palm Ave to Carlsbad to Supercross qualifying day races (which I never once made it out of), etc. I would get a new previous model year bike at a big discount every 2 years, send it straight to Mitch and Bones, and ride it till it was dead. Compared to the stock bikes of today the old bikes were rattle cans! We shared the track a few times long ago at Starwest practice days. Great video and great to see you still making a living in the industry you love!
976 and people like him are real privateer racers.....please help these guys and get them out there.the first bikes were satellite race team with factory support.....don't BS who's who
Lahms BS!!!!our good friend owns a race team.....976 and other riders like him don't have the privileges that satellite race teams have....ibcorp gets treatment that real privateer riders don't get.if ibcorp is paying full pop for there stuff then they are really poorly managed and funding will run out quickly.a single supercross entry fee per rider is a little over 300$.that fee usually has to be paid far prior to the race.....ibcorp may have bought there bikes but majority of there items are fronted to them or as a test basis program with a huge discount similar to a lease.their parts program will be under a given allowance and all parts will be at cost...that is basic.....976 and racers like that pay for all their items or get a percent off to help cover some items....976 and people that race out of a van and live that life are true private racers and deserve every bit of respect because they really do this for the true love and at any moment can be taken away from an injury.....those guys deserve the light!!!!
Long live privateers man and much respect, they are the guys out there really doing it. I wrote them all down and will be rooting for them as well as their compaines like privateer graphics and will support them. Also videos like these are a great incentive for small or big companies to discount or give out parts to privateers that guys like me can put in a cart and order by showcasing them like you have in this video. Worx bikes are cool but I want to buy parts for myself used on a pro level like those shown. Tyvm for the vid and good luck to all the privateers featured
Privateers sure do have it rough but the bikes are still very nice, it’s cool seeing all of the other racers bikes instead of the top factory guys. Nice video!
The factory Yamaha anodized suspension rebuild best bet for serious air. Definitely invest in the Race Tech Gold Vale kits. Completely worth the money.
I was under the impression that privateers were dudes out there on their own bikes on their own money with little support.... If you're being supplied bikes and gear and pitting out a semi or large RV with a ton of support behind you even if it's not "factory" I think that puts you out of being able to be considered a privateer. Josh Greco and guys of that sort are true privateers.
The only difference between privateer bikes and factory bikes is the privateer bikes don't have all the bling and a lot of parts are reused, they aren't changed out after every single ride.
It sucks how these guys have gotten this far and they don’t even stand a snowballs chance in hell of even being competitive. AMA should level the playing field somehow.
Privateer bikes are so much more interesting and relateable.
Thanks Ping. I enjoy this type of video, especially when the privateers get shown.

Dang, that 59 husqvarna looks as good as a factory bike.
Fantastic video! Love these kinds of videos showing how the privateers live!
GTFPOB meto
Nice to see Greco getting some love. He's ridden my bike before lol
Really appreciate the greater transparency with motocross these days

the IBcorp team isnt factory or has factory support.

Do more of these!
I'm so glad that you addressed that colored coating on the forks that's been a question of mine for a long time

Nice thorough review of the Privateer bikes Ping!! Great job brother. RacerX is lucky to have you
cool video... wish i could get a carbon fiber skid plate like the one on the RM, for my 04 yz250.
The redlining in the background sounds sick!
Kylo Ren sound testing
great videos helps show the small part of the sport that gets overlooked

Thanks! Very interesting! Neat to see them up close! Not happy the circuit isn’t stopping in Michigan this year! 😡🤒💩
Very cool, my new favorite feature to sx. Please keep doing it!
Do privateer bikes for 2019
Way cool to see! Nice video guys, hope for the best for these teams!
This was a badass bike you should talk to the riders who ride these bikes compared to factory
The radiator braces are pieces of din-rail tig welded across
My comment came true. Thanks guys!
Great tour very enjoyable 👊
this is so sick thanks RACERx!

Going to get my next graphics set from Greco to show some support
Factory Girlfriends vs Privateer Blow Up Dolls.
Chris Gleis dont gotta worry about breaking the aftermarket bling on your privateer girlfriend lol

So awesome! We love pimped dirtbikes 😎✊🤙🤘
Just sick😍
What plastic kits are these guys running on their Yamahas I want to make my air box look like there’s
Great video! Thanks!
Very informative video. Thanks...
These are my kind of bikes!! lolol. Nice and worn as well as dirty!!
He twisted that guys clutch lever lock loose.lol ..pulling on the levers and things I wouldn't want him around my bike before a race
I’d like to see all the factory riders on privateer bikes (same makes)
I’d venture a guess the outcomes would be similar
Craig Montie (Kyle’s # 11) team manager sounds super familiar but I can’t figure out who he sounds like...🤔
Love this channel
That yzf is mint 👌

Cool video!
Sweet vid ping! Loveit
Awesome vid, had something to say about each bike
80% Rider 20% Bike. - Word.
#11 Chisholm's mechanic Craig Monty sounds a little light in the loafers...
It’s not a “V Force air boot” WTF ping? It’s Moto Tessarini
Do privateer salary ? Whats the different beetween factory
What’s the difference between factory and privateers
$$
Winning and losing
Factory guys get the Monster girls. Privateers get leftover pit rats.
BBQ Sandwich LMFAO!
5 bank accounts 3 ounces and two vehicles
Josh is the man
It drives me nuts that everyone calls the engine a motor. Alta has a motor. These bikes have engines
I WANNA SEE 2 STROKES GODDAMNIT lol
20:00 dude sounds like cleveland lol
on this episode Pingree says how the bikes are not pro bikes
beautiful bikes but tooo expensive
11.27 all stock lot of stock parts. Literally the hole bike is modded lmao
Wow 😯
Someone tell ping to shave his head, wtf's going on up there
Who cares what parts you got its the rider 90% of the time, some of those parts wouldn't make much of a difference
Really goes to show you how AMA has these competitions rigged.
