    Mike vs the mixing bowl. I wonder if when Ben measures the ingredients he adds an extra 10 grams or so to account for Mikes spillage. From what we know about Ben, he probably does.🙂

    the trick to every great sorted recipe is to leave some ingredients outside the mixing bowl! you can't get that anywhere else!

    Just whipped up a batch of this. Super easy and anyone who hasn't done bread before should give it a try. I followed the bread recipe minus the ginger and will fill it with my own mixture. Maybe homemade Nutella? Not sure yet.

    I gave up sugar for Lent so I started to watch your videos to calm my sugar craving. But now I just can't stop watching! Baking is my thing so I think it's time to head to the kitchen and crack on.

    I definitely thought he was going to say sorted too at the beginning! It's the way he says the sentence when he will say sorted, it's such a specific way.

    This was great! We recently made a similar version of a classic Russian Coffee Cake in my breads class at The Culinary Institute of America. When we finished it we just let it be, but as a suggestion for the finish instead of dusting it with powdered sugar try glazing it with mirror glaze or apricot glaze to just enhance the beauty of it rather than covering it.

    You could also lightly cover the spoon with bit of cooking spray to help it slide right off!

    The end product looked spectacular - wish like hell I could smell that. Having said that, when it was cut open to form the horseshoe, briefly, it looked like a dissected squid, laid out in a half-moon. Only you guys could render beauty from that - and you did.

    mikes explanation to why salt and caramel go together should also explain why fish sauce and fondant work as well. but they dont
