I love how they just blow ur mind with an amazing fact like that and then just carry on baking.I had to press pause and just think in awe about that for one second. Mindblown
Mike vs the mixing bowl. I wonder if when Ben measures the ingredients he adds an extra 10 grams or so to account for Mikes spillage. From what we know about Ben, he probably does.🙂
Just whipped up a batch of this. Super easy and anyone who hasn't done bread before should give it a try. I followed the bread recipe minus the ginger and will fill it with my own mixture. Maybe homemade Nutella? Not sure yet.
I gave up sugar for Lent so I started to watch your videos to calm my sugar craving. But now I just can't stop watching! Baking is my thing so I think it's time to head to the kitchen and crack on.
I definitely thought he was going to say sorted too at the beginning! It's the way he says the sentence when he will say sorted, it's such a specific way.
This was great! We recently made a similar version of a classic Russian Coffee Cake in my breads class at The Culinary Institute of America. When we finished it we just let it be, but as a suggestion for the finish instead of dusting it with powdered sugar try glazing it with mirror glaze or apricot glaze to just enhance the beauty of it rather than covering it.
Since I know how much you lads love Morocco, could you make a pastilla recipe? It's a Moroccan sweet-and-savory meat pie wrapped in a phyllo-like pastry called werqa in case you aren't familiar with it. Best of luck!
The end product looked spectacular - wish like hell I could smell that. Having said that, when it was cut open to form the horseshoe, briefly, it looked like a dissected squid, laid out in a half-moon. Only you guys could render beauty from that - and you did.
The thing I love most about reading the comments of your videos, is that everybody tries very hard to be funny enough so that their comment ends up in " Comment of the week". The things you do for fame.
curious : what is the difference between this and a babka? just different regional names? i haven't seen a filled brioche before, so to me, this seems like a trendy filling babka (my favorite).
I wouldn't know how to get my hands on the ingredients used for the filling. Would it be ok if I used self-made salted caramel or would it burn in the oven?
+katrina mccumber sometimes in everyday situations i find people's tone in conversation setting me up to say "sorted" in response but alas, i must resist.
How do you keep the filling from running out of the dough? I make an apple pie danish and the filling always runs out no matter what I do, is there a special trick I'm not getting?
But Mike said that the prehistoric men liked this combination of caramel and salt, so your prehistoric oven is fantastic for a prehistoric combination ;-)
Can you use different ingredients in the middle of you don't like many nuts, ginger, caramel or marmite? I like chocolate though - can you make it with that instead?
The rolled R in rectangle was fantastic!! 😏😏
+Lucy George wrecked angle XD
Black treacle is molasses for my homies in the states (I had to look that up).
You a hero fam.
+BEAST JJANG you're welcome :) I'm glad I could help!!
toswingonastar thanks so much. I thought it was that burnt sugar plauge cure.
I love how they just blow ur mind with an amazing fact like that and then just carry on baking.I had to press pause and just think in awe about that for one second. Mindblown
Lovely flour pouring at the start.
I wish you guys make a video of all your crew just enjoying Ben's cooking. It'll be so cool, refreshing and grounded if that happens.
Mike vs the mixing bowl. I wonder if when Ben measures the ingredients he adds an extra 10 grams or so to account for Mikes spillage. From what we know about Ben, he probably does.🙂
I do when I measure out things like biscuits and chocolate... Because everybody nicks them before we film! Ha
the trick to every great sorted recipe is to leave some ingredients outside the mixing bowl! you can't get that anywhere else!
REALLY REALLY think that you guys should do a competition for someone to win the chance to cook with you ! best comp ever???????????
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Mike, he makes me so happy
That looks so good, can't wait to try it!
Thanks guys

"Ohh we are using big words"
"Distribution or Nut?"
I laughed so hard at that.
Nysa and pari 😇😍😮😭😌😖😔😪🙋🙌🙍🙅🙆🙇🙎🙏💚💛💜💓💔💕💖💗💘💝💞💟👍👎👍💋❤👄👣💅
Great putting-ingredients-into-the-bowl skills there, Mike.
It's a delight of most Sorted videos to watch whomever is putting flour in the mixer totally stuff it up.
I bet Ben's inner caveman befriended all the dinosaurs and they made fun of him tossing him around like a ball
I gave up sugar for Lent so I started to watch your videos to calm my sugar craving. But now I just can't stop watching! Baking is my thing so I think it's time to head to the kitchen and crack on.
When I saw Mike spilling the ingredients all over the place I was thinking "You've got one job Mike goddamn it!"
Give me some. Looks so good!!!
What do you do with the leftover dough? Do you make multiple of the same recipe?
I definitely thought he was going to say sorted too at the beginning! It's the way he says the sentence when he will say sorted, it's such a specific way.
You're really good at pouring things, Mike!
This was great! We recently made a similar version of a classic Russian Coffee Cake in my breads class at The Culinary Institute of America. I love anything salted caramel!
Your videos keep getting better! I loved this one.
There is something special about salt + sweet, i dont know what but its so good!
HAHAHAHAA! When Mike mentioned "your inner cave man, Ben" and Ben popped his head up, was adorable!!!!
Looks INCREDIBLE!!! Is there anything I could use instead of the ginger? Love your channel so so so much!!
Did I hear giggling when Ben said "I'll work on the nuts"?
Absolutely love your videos!!! do consider coming to SINGAPORE!!!
You could also lightly cover the spoon with bit of cooking spray to help it slide right off!
Since I know how much you lads love Morocco, could you make a pastilla recipe? It's a Moroccan sweet-and-savory meat pie wrapped in a phyllo-like pastry called werqa in case you aren't familiar with it. Best of luck!
Looks fantastic! Can't wait to give it a go this weekend! Thanks guys.
Delicious!
I've just made it - it's pretty wonderful!
omg, i can not wait to make this...looks absolutely fantastic!! :)
Fun fact: If you type the word "awesome" while in full screen, the little progress bar will go rainbow.

"Small arms, big ass." Mike Huttlestone- Feb 23, 2016. DYING!!!
The end product looked spectacular - wish like hell I could smell that. Having said that, when it was cut open to form the horseshoe, briefly, it looked like a dissected squid, laid out in a half-moon. Only you guys could render beauty from that - and you did.
You guys make it look so easy. I am sure it wouldn't come out like that if I tried it.
actually salt binds to our taste buds and enhances sweet flavours, that's what I heard n a salted caramel good eats episode
That thing looks amazing!!! Almost as amazing as Ben's hair in this video... xD
At 0:53, I really thought James' head would pop up on the dough. Mike: *snifffffffs* (James' head pop up) "Ginger".
Hi there.
Can u replace the gingersyrup with something els if you can't get your hands on it?
Love from sweden
Wowowowowow thank you this is actually life changing😻😂 can you make more desserts😻
The thing I love most about reading the comments of your videos, is that everybody tries very hard to be funny enough so that their comment ends up in " Comment of the week". The things you do for fame.

Can you PLEASE do a Lost and Hungry tour in Canada.
Was hey trying to stop himself from laughing at 1:05

Looks amazing. But how do you get the dough in such a round shape before proving. When I make dough it's always sticking to my fingers
Will the recipe work even if I use all igredients and don't spill any?
Looks so good.
THAT LOOKS SO GOOD. ugh
That looks amazing!!
what can I replace the ground ginger and ginger syrup with?
Honey maybe?
that looks amazing, I love salted caramel ❤
I miss the old set :(
I love combining sweet and sour, I always sprinkle some salt on fruits like apples.
What can you substitute for molasses? Making this sticky nut twist on the weekend
Stem ginger syrup isn't available here. Any substitutions? Is it necessary?
Can you make a video about snack ideas for a housewarming party?
"Small arms, big arse" An accurate description of me.
We want to see irish beardman do a recipe!
He's Scottish.
Stephanie Robertson Brown scottish then, haha. Thanks.
I'll work on the nuts
- Ben(2016)
OMG!!!! It looks sooooo good!!!
Dulce de Leche might work really nice too!
I wouldn't know how to get my hands on the ingredients used for the filling. Would it be ok if I used self-made salted caramel or would it burn in the oven?
i love how bens so casual like, 'and on to the filling, i'll work on the nuts' 1:03 en still just doesnt realize
0:50 my favourite saying
"Small arms .. BIG ASSSS " 😂😂😂😂😂
Mike you have to watch for the head tick to know when to say SORTED
+katrina mccumber sometimes in everyday situations i find people's tone in conversation setting me up to say "sorted" in response but alas, i must resist.
What could you use as an alternative to the nuts in the recipe?
What a twist!
That's a nice looking watch, Mike. What make is it?

How do you keep the filling from running out of the dough? I make an apple pie danish and the filling always runs out no matter what I do, is there a special trick I'm not getting?
that looks so good
LOL the way Ben said 'rectangle' sounded so much like Russian accent.
Oh I love this chanel. It's so fun!!!!😁
Can this recipe be made without ginger and ginger syrup?
"A salted caramel sticky nut twist, sorted." 😂
can mike put the ingredients in the mixer bowl without spilling?
what can I use instead of ginger syrope
"plenty of other sweet treats available on Sorted Food" while I'm looking at the guys standing around the kitchen... Yyyep!... 👍
He spilled most of the ingredients lol. Teach him how to pour!
+Edward Merida it really bothered me
He looked like he wasn't functioning at 100% capacity.
I feel like this is the only Sorted video I've ever seen of Mike being nothing but lovely to Ben...did I miss something?!? #thiswasgreat
no mint hmmm...... lovely recipe tks guys
mikes explanation to why salt and caramel go together should also explain why fish sauce and fondant work as well. but they dont
Oh my good god.. The fact you kept missing the bowl with the powder ingredients drove me bloody mad
I've always wanted to bake breads but we still have this prehistoric oven and I don't know how to use it 😅
But Mike said that the prehistoric men liked this combination of caramel and salt, so your prehistoric oven is fantastic for a prehistoric combination ;-)
Can you use different ingredients in the middle of you don't like many nuts, ginger, caramel or marmite? I like chocolate though - can you make it with that instead?
What's the recipe for the guy with the stubble because he looks delicious.
Nice to see that Ben is actually using plates
