Hello, I am looking for the Work on leather shop on Etsy, but I cannot find it, neither through your link, nor directly. Does the shop still exists?
Can you show us a close-up of your jig on? I feel like the two outer screws barely screw onto the bottom plate on mine or I am doing something wrong. Also how far up do you put your top plate to ensure the same pressure every time? Are you pulling down on the lever all the way or stopping before? *newbie here*
Hi does that machine also foil stamp envelopes
Yup!
how big is the work bench part on your machine?
Hi, Sarah! My stamping plate is ~5" x 3.8", and the base is 6.5" square.
Do you think this new jig will be made for ZS110?
I think you would have to contact WorkOnLeather to request this. I worked with them to make this jig, I don't think they'll make one for other machines unless they know people are looking for it.
Great video! Can you foil stamp brushes like paint brushes?
I've never tried, but if they are wood and have a flat surface you can!
Thank you so much.
Thank you!
So happy I found your channel! Thank you for sharing so much valuable info! 😊
I'm so happy you found it, too, Chasity! Here to answer any questions you might have.
Hi lori where do you get plain pencils from ali baba. I havw zonesun machine but in uk can't source blank pencils.
Hi, Salma! Are you in our Facebook group for pencil stampers? facebook.com/foilstampedpencils There's a lot of talk in there about different sources for pencils from Alibaba. You should join!
I only source my colored pencils from Alibaba, and then I buy my graphite/#2 pencils from Musgrave Pencil Co in the US.
@@LoriOster I also got the ZS-100B and 3mm from ETSY workonleather, will get one.it is really resolve the ZS-100B machine complain. perfect!!!Thanks Lori!
@@zonesunautopack I agree! This jig makes it so easy to stamp pencils with the ZS 100B!
My pencil jig keeps slipping off mr base plate. I do have the ZS100B.
That's frustrating. Have you tried unscrewing the metal plate on your base so the jig can sit a bit lower?
This video is EVERYTHING! Thank you!
Thank you so much, Kathy!!!
New to hot foil stamping and have no idea what size letters fit pencils. I’m seeing 6mm as the most common stamp size. Will this work?
Hi, Aksa! You'll need 3 mm size stamps to fit on a typical hexagon-shaped pencil. I think someone in our stamping group on Facebook has 4 mm stamps and they fit, but just barely. I'd go with 3 mm for sure.
what mm letter size stamp do you recommend for pencils?
3 mm / 10 pt font
What is the best font size for pencils?
I use 3 mm/10 pt font. But definitely ask your vendor for their insight before you buy. I press Musgrave hexagon pencils and this size is perfect for them.
Just got my jig but it doesn’t stay in place at all. Are the screws supposed to hold it firmly against the base?
Yes, they should definitely be holding it firm against the base! I put a little piece of thin metal between my jig and my pencil base because I don't want the ends of the screws to mark up my machine. But it definitely keeps the jig really securely in place.
I would contact WOL if yours isn't working properly and ask for a replacement for sure.
Mine also.
