The Alfa looks great and sounds great, but it's a big chungus. The TVR is the way to go if you want a sports car. Try to get one that's been rebuilt though 😅😅
A shame TVR during Wheeler's era didn't take enough time with the Speed 6 engine- reliable and sound following rebuilds, but it's a shame it took rebuilds to correct. Brilliant noise, the Tamora is easily the best out of these three.
@@charliet1175 given the sheer volume of people who don't check the description and rant about the ridiculous prices of cars in these second hand videos that Fifth Gear have been uploading recently, I thought you were one of them. My apologies.
I would have chosen a supercharged Miata. Miata is always the answer! Get a cheap NB and mod it to the bone with a few quid. And have fun in the process.
@@faisalrahman7 thank you my friend. I know this channel. Big fan. It would be nice to see Tiff, Jonny, Vicky and Jason back on out screens again soon. They made great TV!
In many ways it irritates me that they say they start for as little as 3000, but then film with one that would cost probably twice that much. And anyone who thinks an Audi TT is a viable alternative for a Lamborghini is a complete moron.
Wow! It's amazing how a just £ 3.000 car like this Audi TT reach 0.62 mph in just 6.4 seconds, nice one for that price, honestly looks better than the Alfa Romeo
Now TVR Tamoras are worth 30k lol
That Alfa is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
I have one in that colour with 19, 000 miles. Total keeper.
So Im not the only one who thinks that.
I agree
159 is prettier but I'm biased also both come with a v6 and a 210hp deisel
Alfa's are pure art
The Alfa Romeo is so pretty, and it's still look brand new
A little weird to view these cars as a Lamborghini alternative 😏
Just call it finding a cheap roadster/sportscar ..
I don't know how isn't any Porsche there
I remember when the TT came out in the US jaw-dropping absolutely jaw-dropping and I drooled over and I still do absolutely gorgeous car
The Alfa wins here, style never goes out of fashion.
The TVR sounds soooooooooo good
That tiny little TT weighs as much as a small moon! Did they build it out of lead?
Sloppy research by Fifth Gear. The TT weighs ~1,500 kgs

The Alfa Romeo with a petrol V6 would be the best pick
That TVR is 🔥. Miss their cars, they were insanely fast, stunning and had looks way ahead of the time!
I like the Audi TT; I've had three of them. Original, 2nd body style, then 2nd generation convertible. I haven't had an Alfa Romeo since my 164.
The paint on that TVR... 🤤
tasteless right?
Probably over £1000 to respray if you get chips on the bumper.
@@LawrenceTimme those chameleon paint jobs are insanely expensive to repair.
@@bmstylee yes I know.
Probably the best car of them, love this car the Alfa is cool as ice 🧊

These cars should not even be said in the same sentence with a lambo.
How's 185 hp an alternative for a Lamborghini?
Wish you could still get a tamora for 15k
I'm very pleased that TVRs are going up. They are real classics that have been ignored for too long.
I choose TVR Tamora because the chameleon paint colors are really awesome. 😀🏎🏁🏆
That Alfa Spider is the Swan to the Audi TT’s ugly duckling.
The real affordable Brit sport car is the Lotus with a Toyota engine 😁
😁😁😁👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
It's mainly owned by China now
BRING BACK TIFF
Nice episode
Going by Jonny’s hair this is an old recording lol
2014. Stated in the description.
@@longtailgt pretty sure my comment didn’t need a response bud it was humour

This video is basically "can't afford a Lambo? How about a different car instead?" Well no shit
Wow thank you thank you so much

I want a super car. I don't have the money. Get a TVR. Problem solved.
The TVR definitely. Their cars were so unique and didn’t care about rules and regulations. They just did what they felt was cool. Get the Tamora.
Good old Jonny!
I miss this show and especially Jonny!
When you all be returning to our screen?
Follow Johnny's youtube Channel The Late break show. He's has gone very EV but Jonny is still genuinely honest and just very good.
@@faisalrahman7 thank you my friend. I know this channel. Big fan. It would be nice to see Tiff, Jonny, Vicky and Jason back on out screens again soon.
They made great TV!
Lovely Jubbly Johnny
TVR anyday...🚙💨🤣
I just can't get over the fact that the Audi is 200 kg heavier than my Rover P5B coupe!
And the P5 is cooler.
The TVR for me.......
How old is this????
Just in looks, because even the Audi TT is faster, not even mentioning that TVR Tamora
I'd say about ten year old
It's from 2014
If you buy any one of them cars for 3 grand , you are asking for it !

Eye popping styling, neck creaking speed and the ability to ruin your hair + mid engined, you need an MGF mate
NOW WAY A TT WEIGHS NEARLY TWO TONNES
Alfa the 💘
Alfa 159 for the win
The TT does not weigh 1850kg.
Jeremy Clarkson would've rocked in Fifth Gear
185hp is enough for road use
As if car buyers jack cars up that high to look at them
What? A plastic impeller?
The trouble with recycling these videos is the info is out of date. Cheap content BUT!
Ahahah a golf cabrio compared to lambo creazy
£3,000?
Amazing isn't? And can reach 0.62 mph in just 6.4 seconds, something very great to me for that price
@@ArturoPerez-si2xk yes
Tvr super rare
Back in the day when Jonny didn't look like a taliban.
Calls himself a motoring journalist, but doesn't think it's worth mentioning which engine's in the Alfa. Irritating in the extreme.
Forget Lamborghini Ferrari buy new Dacia Logan is so cheap
Ability to ruin your hair. Joke's on you. I shave my head.
