It makes me happy to hear some more recent bands starting to keep the Grunge style of music going and finally going back to using actual drums and guitars instead of factory pop made in a studio ♥️

They have always kept an original sound while keeping up with the trends of music, without adapting to the trend. I’ve always found their style interesting, it’s always changing.
If you can't hear "A Forest" by The Cure in this song, you either don't know the song or are deaf. I mean, I think this song's great, and have been a Pumpkins fan for 30 years, but let's get real here. Probably not the best song to be talking about originality about.

Except the latest Smashing Pumpkins releases are high quality & uphold their legendary reputation, whereas the latest SW trilogy is a cringeworthy disgrace that does nothing but push the Mary-Sue political agenda & ruin the legendary reputation of Star Wars. In my mind it's non-canon, as opposed to every single SP release being enjoyable. My personal favourites are Adore, Machina & Oceania. Loving the new 80's synth inspired sound.

I’ve been waiting for this animated series since 2000. I really want to see Glass and the ghost children finished as well.
I wouldn't mind that either. I wonder if he even has rights or the material to help finish. It's funny 20 years into the future from the time period and the animation isn't wholly that different.

I saw you guys in Tucson last month (May 2022) and it was my first time hearing this song. Admittedly I don’t often listen to SP other than what I hear on the radio but the concert was awesome and this song stuck out to me the most and I’ve had it on repeat since then. My boyfriend loved it as well. Now we listen to this album and all of your other stuff a lot more.

How does Billy Corgan just always make hits? What I wouldn't give to meet him once and just thank him for creating music for my lifetime. I dwell in my past, clinging to what I recognize, as the world changes from spinning dizzy drunk. But knowing a familiar voice plays a soundtrack to hold my time, and get me through another day, helps me stagger forward until I can no longer. Thank you.

I managed to miss this one as a casual listener these days and im so mad i didnt know about it sooner. With the new record dropping soon i had them in my playlist and this started popping up. LoVE this record!!!!!!
It’s the strangest thing. I’ve been a fan of the pumpkins since the start, the heavy drum intro of I am One leading to the fuzzy, oversaturated brilliance of guitar.
I’ve stuck with them when the original lineup disintegrated, new faces appeared, styles and interpretations became mercurial and sometimes unpalatable from a first listen.
They as a collective still manage to create truly interesting and immersive songs which grab you with a hook and pull you through to the end always demanding a repeat listen. Something new, but constantly demanding of attention. Amazing, inspiring and the songs have been a companion to me for many years, with many more to come.
Probably their best lineup to date...I love when Linda Strawberry contributes however...

Love this song and video. The song is upbeat and I love the guitar and background vocals. One of the best songs I have heard recently. Love it. The animations is great too and reminds me of Heavy Metal a bit in a good way.

Definitely sounds like A Forest. "Silvery Sometimes" was an homage to Robert Smith but this to me sounds like a great homage and influence as well.

Their really early stuff was very Cure influenced. There is a video on utube showing a live studio performance from the late 80’s or early 90’s

This a great direction. The pumpkins always move forward and no one distills the sound of post punk early eighties better than SP. I could care less if they're reminiscent of old albums.
