by the way, this is high risk high reward BUT it will work more efficiently if you have a teammate providing vision to know where the enemy jungle's starting path and holding down the area you're starting in. in higher elo, most of the time, enemies will try to mow you down to remove your boxes as Shaco is most vulnerable at the start of the game.
I played shaco for the first time yesterday and climbed 2 divisions with this strat today. Never knew shaco was so fun. Only problem is that in my games they’ve started top 90% of the time so I have to go to the opposite side of the map and do the cheesy play. Maybe it’s just an Emerald thing though. You should talk about wards in your full video. I lost a game pretty much entirely because the blue was warded, but I still start trinket and ward their topside buff at the start of the game because it’s so useful to know which buff to steal.
Also who do you ban? I’m banning Briar because she has 1v1d me a few times when I did the strat. Seems like she can 1v1 shaco at any point in the game.
Can I add you as I'm going to start trying this out in ranked. Been doing it successfully in normals. I too think Briar is a good ban as he 1v1'ed me too@@Nocebonobo
@@Nocebonobo nah if you get 1v1 by briar thats should never be posaible, your q removes her w steroid entirely and ignite counter her healing. When she gets feared in her W state she just runs away super fast in the opposite direction and wastes alot of her damage uptime.
the only thing you should have maybe mentioned that this is an shaco only thing. i mean its obvious but people try it on other champs as well and probably should mention lane prios and wards, cause if you take too long to invade and enemy lane has prio already they can easily kill you or if it is warded u waste a lot of time. so yeah like most people say its high risk high reward. but with these 2 steps in mind the risk definetly gets lower
Yoo, im excited to try this stuff out. Does this work with Harvest or just Blades? I typically go AP with Harvest. It suites my style. Maybe run Blades with the Shojin build for this season? (currently 14.15)
the best way is start ur red with leash go to the enemy blue ward wulfs place box left side and wait for him go in smite wulfs and u got the kill ;) PS doing it since season 6
I usually go (if on blue side) my blue into enemy birds into their red into a top gank This steals alot of farm from them and prevents them simply ganking top themselves after realizing their entire top is gone I'm not comfortable enough for early game fights yet but i'm working on improving myself
Things I noticed : with no mythics you can make him truly hybrid. The AP is too hard to pass up. The Lethality is too good to pass up. I notice you run blue jungle item instead of red. Is that part of the invade/mobility?

Blue smite is best for late game map control as you have great mobility and you can flank carries/ reach the enemy back line easier through the jungle
Waiting for bug fixes first. But nice tips for those who need.

It works with any build as at level 1-3 you don't have any items anyways
