Everytime I see something like this is think Evan gatis Trevor Bauer. I have no clue whatsoever if it's on here I just started the video, but the video loses all credibility if that home run isn't on here haha. One of the best high fast ball home runs I've ever seen. Sheffield used to dismantle high fastballs as well.
@@fred_fotch_baseball Yes that’s 7th grade me lmao. I’m a senior in HS now which is crazy because I remember this game like it wasn’t half a decade ago. I went to this game with like 4-5 of my friends and we were surrounded by some late 20 to early 30 year old people who were chirping the life out of George springer and you could obviously tell they had a couple drinks. My favorite line of the bunch was when one guy just shouted out, “springer, more like summer!” It was so dumb but also really funny. And to answer your question I’m a Phillies fan so I wasn’t unhappy, but I definitely was not rooting for either team.
I think Bartolo Colon's surprise homer should count. I think that was an easy fast ball. It was supposed to take him out like other fastballs, but then BOOM!
1:19 - Was that Trevor Larnach playing in left field for the Twins? He, Steven Kwan of the Guardians, and Adley Rutschman of the Orioles were all teammates on the Oregon State team that won the College World Series a few years ago. It was Larnach's go-ahead and eventual game-winning home run that made the Razorbacks pay for their gaffe on a foul pop fly and set Kevin Abel up for his historically dominant start the next day. (Arkansas would have finished that Game 2 and their series sweep of the Beavers if they had caught that easy pop foul. Instead, three fielders let the ball drop between them to allow the Beavers another chance.)
I'm a braves fan so I shouldn't be saying this but you should've included that HR by Bellinger off Luke Jackson in the 2021 NLCS. That ball was shoulder high and he somehow hit it out. Pitching Ninja vid about it: ruclips.net/user/shortsLw-WMwWUb4E?feature=share

My favourite was the one where the high fastball didn't work
I hate when I'm playing the show and my opponent fouls off 16 pitches in a row, only for them to hit a no-doubter from a fastball way above the zone,
Evan Gattis vs Trevor Bauer is the poster boy of hitting high fastballs
Kyle Schwarber home run off Gerrit cole In the 2021 wild card game

I thought for sure Schwarber vs Cole in the 2021 wild card game would have been in here.
Fun fact I’m in this video. First clip, I’m sitting down wearing an eagles hat with a red shirt, just a little bit away from where the ball landed.
Are you in front of the guy standing in the yellow shirt? You don't look very happy. I guess you aren't a Yankees fan haha

Even Bauer was impressed.
