8:53 I cannot stop laughing at this. Amazing. Great video. I'm really surprised there were so few instances of Fenway's...unique dimensions playing a role.
I'm really surprised at how much Wrigley Field is here... I never thought of it as a particularly small stadium, but I guess it's got a left-center alley.
@@totsbig Safeco is only a pitcher's park because hitting doubles there is god awful thanks to the marine layer and the vanilla design of the outfield. It's actually not that bad if you just go for home runs every time, which is why the Mariners are built the way they are.
Some of these aren't expected homeruns in any stadium, according to launch angle and exit velo, even in the stadium it left. Wind and humidity (and the outfielder's glove) playing a role.
Now I want to know, where are all of the unicorn spots? I wasn't expecting Seattle for instance, nor was I expecting Fenway to have one in all 3 fields (namely, center). Of course, there's often more than one unicorn spot for any given angle (e.g., Tropicana vs. Fenway left field pole), but I'd love to see if someone would be able to make some sort of coherent diagram.
Sometimes statcast is a little wonky. That homerun to left at Fenway was a missile (100+ off the bat with a 30 deg launch angle). A ball like that is usually going 400 feet, so I’m pretty sure statcast got that one wrong. Dead center at Fenway is only 390, though.
@@josefstein9062 it literally is pitcher friendly. its the fourth most hitter friendly park in their own division. park factor is a thing moron. the gap to gap distance is the second largest in baseball behind coors field and its 408 to dead center. left center field is calles death valley for an obvious reason
u should do "reverse unicorns" with 29/30 parks, i remember a rockies game Sam Hilliard hit a ball 422 feet that Coors kept in
Good idea, I think there are only a handful from last year though.
There’d probably be a few Yankees stadium left center homeruns, which might surprise people (although it shouldn’t)
@@fred_fotch_baseball If you do 2021, Stanton's probably got 2 from the ALWC game (which, as a Red Sox fan, I am grateful for).
You’d see a lot of clips from Mount Baltimore in LF at Camden Yards.

I noticed that too wtffff

Micky mouse yankee stadium
Should rename the video “Yankee Stadium Homerun Compilation”😂
hahahaha wow so funny and also flat out wrong
Carful, they get mad if you point out their right field fence is basically a high school park 😂
@@Archerftw continue to ignore facts LMFAO
Yankee fans are so easy to trigger lmao, all you gotta do is say basic facts about their ballpark and they get super defensive.😂

As a Reds fan, I feel like our pitchers give up bombs to that spot multiple times per game when they play there 😂
I think I know why the one at 5:37 wouldn’t leave at any other park…
Haha I wasn't sure whether to include that one but decided to because the same mistake in another park would have been a double or triple.
This also surprised me. Safeco/T-Mobile Park is considered a pitcher's park, why would it be included? Then ohhhh..okay.

The opposing teams, especially the Brewers, took advantage of Wrigley Field 10x more than the Cubs themselves did…
The Brewers should really consider playing in Wrigley full-time, they've got a knack for wall-scrapers there
“Short porch highlights (plus a few others)”
Ah, a "pitchers justifiably spiking their gloves" compilation. I've always wanted to see one of these! XD
I wish there was more unique dimensions in MLB stadiums , like minor league ball parks .
Yankee Stadium’s right field is just a complete joke, it needs to get moved back 20 feet, just absurd. Those should all be doubles.
@Bread And Circuses Just turn every park into Fenway and Oracle, we'll have guys hitting 25 triples a year in no time.
Can you also do a compilation of swings-and-misses on terrible pitches?
That one spot in wrigley is so wacky
Notice how most of these are in yankee stadium lol. And yankee fans wonder why we call it a little league ballpark lol.

dang it, I did this too a while back and it flopped
4:13 youre tellin me that doesnt get out at yankees stadium or fenway?
Gee, how many of these are Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park?
Ok most of those homers at Yankee stadium would’ve been gone at great American ballpark
Jazz homer at angels stadium?
I see a pattern.....
Haha very perceptive
idk some of these are 400 ft and they would gone in most ballparks

Yankee stadium is a joke. Every single one from another stadium is at least a hit, whereas every single short porch one is clearly a pathetic flyout.

Just pretty much yankee stadium then a few other clips
