    you can use software instead of a module to convert it into midi
    google dsp trigger

    Could you use one of these to trigger sounds on a laptop with something like ableton live? if not could I do it with an adapter that isn't crazy expensive?

    Aquarian does it with the inHEAD and the onHEAD FSR triggering NO crosstalk and in real time,,, no lag,,

    rim riser rises the rim to enhance cross stick sounds.
    this is simply an electronic pad with a unique and compact design :L

    Actually the e RimRiser is much better Roland actually stole the idea from them .The e RimRiser is more affordable DOESNT REQUIRE A STEREO ADAPTER and is less money!!
