They should've had his base combos utilise the different G4 transformations, Luffy was switching at will against Kaido before he awakened G5. Just so that he's completely different from time skip Luffy.

As much as One Piece does translate to a Dynasty Warriors like game, I would love a Kingdom Hearts inspired One Piece game while being able to choose different party members you can embark with and explore islands. Imo my dream game 😍

I I played this game it’s really fun and I used goof Luffy gear five and I won everybody. He’s super strong.

Yea considering u only get one for defeating strong enemies, the captains and leaders don't give them unfortunately so yea, slow pickings.
with the onishima map pacl it shut be easier to grind

5:34 no you were too close to that barrel tower. Animation doesn't work if your close to anything like that
How do you use the “I reach my peak” special attack I gotten it but it doesn’t show?

@@danphillips9992 I think it might be a passive ability when you transform. Like Gum Gum lighting is there but is available only for G5 Luffy. I was hoping the move set look like how it was in the anime 😂

Depends on progress in treasure log pretty much whatever 4 player boss levels you can beat the fastest
Just grind the heck out of the maps online is even faster

It's a bit much to expect from a game that he can turn the terrain into rubber. I doubt we made that kind of advancement in technology yet to program that sort of thing.
The closest we got is the end of his M2 after M1 (not sure how to explain it but he 'bounces the ground' as in it becomes rocks and then fluctuates infront)

It’s the name of the attack from film RED that you have in the special moves of gear 5 by default.
Unlocking it in the skill tree only makes it stronger.
Just like how you can upgrade gum gum lightning or barjang gun in the skill tree.
The game dosen’t show you the name of the attack in game. And you can’t see special moves in the menu when the character is transfomed.
Luffy does scream the attack’s name in japanese. But I guess the devs thought everyone playing would know japanese 😂

Gear 5 luffy should of just been another costume for Luffy, the fucked us over with their lazyness really, should of had 2 new characters instead.
Honestly Luffy and Kaido should of been added to their original characters and had 2 new characters for the aditional characters, this is just so fucking lazy imho.

It's from the character pass 2. The character pack 4 which includes Luffy Yamato and kaido will release later I believe (14th of September)

Is there a way for maintaining the transformation longer ?
Yes. Using resilience skill will make it last.longer, and you can use concentration skill to make special gauges fill faster so you can transform again quicker
If you keep a combo with at least 3000 hits than gear 5 lasts forever

It should automatically be there perhaps you might have to play new story modes to unlock them? Either way it will be fun I plan to get the new dlc soon too

Base non dlc Luffy does the new dlc one only has gear 5
i have since gotten the DLC and it seems like that is the case, no Gear 4 just 5
he does still have his gear 2 and 3 attacks from the base game Luffy but that's it, no Gear 4 form change, i am pre sure they just replaced it with Gear 5.
Kaido is the same, he is half beast mode with full dragon attacks, idk if he has a form change or not yet ive been playing PW3 atm to get the Platinum Trophy for it since im close b4 i move onto 4.@@tdogwha
