- I finally got myself into some big boy tires! 26 inch tall Hoosier drag slicks. In this video I provide you an in depth view of the specs of my new wheel & tire setup. I share with you all the details which I believe will help me go quicker in the 1/4 mile. Make sure you check out my next video where we put them to the test on track at Mission Raceway.

Rocket coatings in abbotsford does amazing work use them for all my powder coating.
Well of course chunks are missing from the wheels, that's why they're so light! ;) Good luck, can't wait to see how they perform!

@@VancityAudi I’m running 18’s wrapped in DR2’s. Planning to step down to 17’s or 16’s also wrapped in DR2’s. I suggest you get a drag setup for the drag strip. You’ll get the traction you want for those 10’s in the 1/4 mile!

The taller rolling diameter will hurt the acceleration which should hurt the e.t. but you did great in the weight saving that should off set it, hopefully you can cut deeper into the 1.3 60ft now that you have more flex on the side wall and a better compound and get those e.t down. Looking forward to the new e.t.s OoO and is getting cooler and DA is dropping 👌, super excited to see what you accomplish this fall 💪
Agreed, they will hurt my trap speeds, but I'm looking for a quicker ET. I don't care what my trap is if I manage a 9.2, haha.
