What Enna discussed is called Negative/Negativity Bias The effects are like Enna discussed, and has been long-researched. The causes for this bias are less concretely understood, often hypothesised to be a result of evolution. Those who pay more attention to bad or dangerous things are more likely to survive and pass on that gene. What I claimed is based on this article www.verywellmind.com/negative-bias-4589618 I have checked the sources and it seems alright, but I am by no means a Psychology professional. Do correct me if I am engaging in spreading misinformation. (The following involves opinions and is only proposed to encourage healthy discussion) Despite being a very interesting subject, most psychology resources are pseudo-scientific, with no sources of studies to be found, so please be extra careful when researching. If one does have trouble with negative comments, I would suggest reading about this topic, especially the multitude of solutions offered online. Again, as aforementioned, check if the article you read is reliable and trustworthy. Pertaining to the causes, I mean... how exactly would you go about finding FOR CERTAIN, with SOLID EVIDENCE why humans evolved into the concatenation of mistakes that is today? It's challenging, if not impossible, in addition to not being as useful as finding solutions or means of help for people badly suffering from, for instance, too strong a negative bias (I guess?). To be honest, I would believe that the question "Why?" will remain murky unless genetic technology drastically advances or we dive into complete science fiction and invent a time machine.
I love enna so much. She's one of those vtubers who you can feel being real. Like you know you're talking to an actual person with an actual life behind that 2d model they have, and its really really nice. I can feel mysef connecting to her more bcs of it. Also, i kind of want/ dream of myself being a vtuber but i don't know shit abt games and technical stuff so I don't think I would ever pass as one LMAO
You don't necessarily need to know about games, you can become a vtuber about anything else like making music, drawing, cooking, etc. The technical stuff you will learn that along the way so at the end of the day it's all about what you want to do, how you want to do it and if you want to do it. In shorter terms, do whatever you want
Doing anything involving other people requires thick skin. I read JP, KR, and CN novels that get translated and I used to see a lot of good translators quit because of a minority of comments and emails from readers complaining about release speeds and stuff. It truly was a very small minority of their readers, but they let those few people get to them and they quit.
Im suprised by how many comments there are in this video. I expected for it to be flooded with comments because it had so many views and the video is pretty solid and about a topic i think most people would be interested in, including myself, anyways... While i don't have any experience myself on streaming, let alone V-tubing, i always dreamed about being able to stream and make content for people and i like the idea of V-tubing as a way for introverted people to stream without feeling much pressure, and i myself wish i could be able to stream or maybe become a Vtuber one day, but, i think i'm not good enough to be able to reach such heights, so i'm here to wish good luck for all the people who checked this video with the objective in mind to become a Vtuber, like me. As for the video itself, it is pretty solid, straight to the point and with good editing, and also it was pretty kind to give the context of what Enna was talking about when she started talking about negativity bias. Keep up the great work.
I will never stop believing streamers exaggerate how hard of a job streaming is. It's literally a dream job. The pros outweigh the cons any day when you compare it to the amount of life destroying, soul crushing awful jobs out there that billions of people have to suffer through just to survive, put food on the table and sustain their families. This topic is another clear example of how much people just agree or take anything creators say as the holy truth without any critical thinking. I love Enna and so many VTubers, but I will never stop trying to take what they say with a grain of salt. Most of them have lived privileged lives and have become even more privileged by becoming successful online.
Typical comment that yells out "LIES!" to a successful content creator who gives genuine advice & shares their experience to aspiring younglins. Calm down. She didn't even say these things nor compare it to other jobs. I don't know where you getting these info. Most of these decent streamers are not even complaining, they are simply saying not to EXPECT it as "the dream job" without any negatives. Also "It's literally a dream job" is your perspective as someone who is just dreaming it. They get to live it on a daily basis so I'm more inclined to believe them.
no one is saying streaming is the hardest job in the world, just that it’s harder than people expect because streamers usually act happy for their audience so we wouldn’t really know
Plus, comparing streaming to the most soul crushing occupation in the world is like telling a kid whose dog’s died to suck it up and be grateful because at least they aren’t a poor orphan living in the streets. Like what? It’s not a competition

Do continue taking what internet people say with a grain of salt though 👍
