The human faces aren’t there because it’s meant to be a dog’s point of view. Fun fact: the opening scene where Lady is first introduced is based off of something Walt Disney actually did for his wife, when he gave her a chow puppy for Christmas.

Trivia: Originally, Trusty, the bloodhound, was supposed to die at first. But after what happened with Bambi when he killed off the mother, Walt Disney didn't want to kids and parents leaving the theater upset, so he had Trusty live at the end.
There is a theory floating around out there that the reason why Tramp says all those things about babies and humans implies that he went through the same thing Lady was going through. It's suggested that he lived in a home (not as fancy as Lady's owners) with a couple who were happy as they were until a baby came along. You notice in the few bits of dialog like "Stop that scratching! You'll get fleas all over the baby!" or lines describing the baby food or the doghouse; my guess is because of financial troubles and other issues, Tramp's owners decided they couldn't keep him anymore. I can think of two possibilities that happened which: 1. Tramp was left out in the doghouse until he decided to try and escape on his own. 2. His owners abandoned him in near the tracks and basically left him for "dead" It's sad but a cruel reality for a lot of dogs that owners will actually do this. And the fact that Disney accurately portrays all this from a dog's perspective is just brilliance. (Also love your guy's reactions to this movie)
I have always thought this! I would definitely take the abandoned one, it would explain why he sleeps there, it’s where he knows and maybe for a while there he thought they would come back..sad to think about but your right it does happen all the time in real life! My sister once found a little puppy in the dumpster, just left there to die, we took her home!
They actually bring this up in the live action movie. Tramp did have a family, but was abandoned after they had a baby and he didn't want to go through that heartbreak again. Which is why he tries to show Lady a fun time of being free and discourage her from going home. He doesn't want her to go through what he went through, believing Jim Dear and Darling to be like his old owners, and wants to get her out of there before it's too late.
@@PuccaLover15 Wait, that actually came out already? I thought it was still in development. I mean I know the world came to an end, but that went WAY under the radar.
I just love the period setting for this movie. They make that turn-of-the-century look so beautiful and romanticized. The crazy thing is this period was like childhood nostalgia for Walt Disney and his animators. This and the way Peter Pan depict London are just so magical.
Peg the dog is voiced by famous actress Peggy Lee, and in "He's a Tramp" The dogs movements and wiggling during the number are based on her real life mannerisms when she performs on stage.
The box that Lady was in as a puppy was a hat box, and Darling thought it was a hat that she had been admiring that was trimmed with ribbon. When she asks and Jim Dear say it has a ribbon he was referring to the one on Lady. Likely he just put it out a couple minutes prior and there were likely holes that just did not get animated. So yeah, no need to really worry much about Lady being there to long.
40:15 Something a lot of people miss about this scene: They're offering to marry her and let her stay with one of them because she's pregnant, and if word got out the father was a street dog, it would've ruined her reputation. They're doing this to help her save face. Also explains why they got so angry when he showed up again. In their eyes, he knocked her up and left her to take care of the puppies on her own.
Yes! Also that would mean when those other stray dogs were chasing her and about to attack she was in heat and weren’t going to necessarily hurt her but mate with her. That’s why they look so possessed when Tramp intervenes.
Especially after Lady heard about Tramp's love-'em-and-leave-'em reputation from Peg's song at the pound. Ie., WHAT exactly happened between the spaghetti, and waking up next morning at the park?...
It's implied that Jock and Trusty were offering their homes to Lady not because her owners left, but because she got pregnant after her night with Tramp. They were offering to marry her because having children out of wedlock was frowned upon.
I agree that they were offering to marry Lady to "save her reputation," but it was because she had (gasp!) stayed out all night with a man. In 1909 when this is set, that by itself would be enough to "ruin" a woman. It's only the next day, so there'd be no evidence she was pregnant, it's just a matter of appearances, and these two old-fashioned gentlemen are determined to "do the right thing" by her.
@@ianij99 Dog pregnancy only lasts around 2 months on average .... lol.. and it takes up to 3 months for an adult dog's broken leg to heal. I think you guys are reading too much into it, there's no way Walt Disney or anyone else in production would have even imagined that nuance into their animated kid's film in 1955. They we're offering their homes because at that point aunt Sarah had literally put Lady in the doghouse, which was established early in movie that being put in the doghouse was a bridge too far according to Jock and Trusty. The whole children out of wedlock thing is never implied.
If you're interested, the baby's name is Jim Junior. This movie has a sequel too. Fun facts : some dogs of the movie make a cameo in " The 101 dalmatians " and in the french version, Jock, Joe and the old man of the zoo are voiced by the same guy : Roger Carel
@btamamura I don't know who Mel Blanc is but if you say that. I'm sad to learnt, only after his dead, that Roger Carel was behind a lot of the characters of the Disney movies of my childhood. It's a very big loss for the french voice acting 😥
Every dog owner can relate when Lady wanted to sleep with her owners, but Jim was reluctant at first, then gave in. Come on, who can't say no to that puppy face and the little whimpers and howls?! 🐶 🥺
The beginning of the pound scene is always hard to watch without tearing up. It's just a testament to why you should adopt don't shop! Honestly, that is all I could think about at the start of the video when she was talking about going to the puppy store. There is plenty of love to be had at a rescue, including puppies that need good homes:)
I've heard some people come to Aunt Sarah's defense, about how she just doesn't know any better and how Jim Dear and Darling should have told her how to deal with Lady, so she's not evil. I say, she doesn't have to be evil to be annoying and awful, lol. For all we know, Jim Dear or Darling did give her instructions and she ignored them. And a terrible cat mom, seeing as how Si and Am are nasty and get away with things. Also, having lived with a Scottie mix, it's amusing just how accurate Jock is. That rooster crow of a bark when he shouts and growls, the object hoarding, the bounce with every bark, she's very much like Jock.
It was pretty obvious that she didn’t like Lady at all. It’s pretty easy to make someone think the worst of someone else if they already don’t like them.
@@RomanceFreak She responded more to the beginning when Lady was a puppy and making a commotion while Jim Dear and Darling are trying to sleep. She stared very intensely at the tv screen.

The reason they pet her after she sees the baby is to show her they still care about her her biggest fear was that she would be forgotten about when the baby came along
This has always been one of my favorite Disney films! I absolutely love dogs and love this cute story about a rich and poor dog! I love that we see things from Lady’s point of view, that’s why you rarely ever see their faces and the fact that she thinks their names are really Jim Dear and Darling because that’s what they always refer to each other, I’m sure Darling has a real name. I always thought the reason why Tramp chases the chickens was because he was trying to stall her a little longer, like he knew he was never going to see her again since she picked the baby over him and just wanted to spend a little more time with her but sadly things went bad.
I really like Lady and the Tramp, it’s is a very cute film about dogs. The animation is superb for one of the earlier Disney classics and the character’s are great as well. When someone brings up this film, the first thing that pops into your head is the famous spaghetti dinner scene. Nothing like seeing the romance between these two title character’s. 🐕🐕🍝😊
My second favourite Disney film, being a dog person. Simply adorable! Fun fact: once I grew up, I always found it interesting they had Trusty "lose" his sense of smell, because he's a Bloodhound, the breed of dog that's considered the most adept at recognising smells, it's the most effective molecular dog there is today. Once they sniff out a trail, they don't stop until they get to the end; they're so focused they don't even hear the master's orders. And as they show in the end, they are very tender, calm dogs who has infinite patience, especially with little ones 💚 PS: The name means more simply 'pureblood', a name given to it as a sign of respect.
39:51 The intended implication in this scene that Lady is pregnant by Tramp, and Trusty and Jock know it. They're both trying to save Lady from a scandal by offering to pretend to be the puppies' father and starting a fake relationship with her.
I really loved how Trusty's voice actor made some of his lines sound like the howling/baying of a bloodhound, which is what Trusty's breed is. Jock is a Scottish Terrier, or Scottie, and Lady is an American Cocker Spaniel. Lastly but not leastly, Tramp is at least part Schnauzer!
I could kinda tell by the mustache he has, but, wow! Never knew that before! That means, with the sequel in consideration, their puppies should have a "mustache" like Tramp, but only Scamp got it
A lot of people talk about the one scene in "Bambi"... but for me that shot of Trusty at the end where he _looks totally dead_ was always far more upsetting to me as a child (even though he was shown to have lived in the next scene).
44:50 When Jim and Darling showed up to the house, the pound carriage was carrying Tramp away, and they asked the driver what he was doing. He's the one who told them he was taking Tramp to the pound.
Jim Dear and Darling weren't "cut off" due to difficulties with animation (like there's very few shots of The Prince in Snow White, this movie were at the top of their years, or rather near the top as Sleeping Beauty was consindered Old Era Disney's top before they started with the Xerox technology to cut costs) but it's the show the movie from the perspective of the dogs.
Trusty was supposed to die at the end, but they changed their minds last minute because they thought after Bambi, kids deserved a happy ending for everyone.
If we think about Tramps take on humans with dogs when a baby comes into the picture maybe he used to have a home but was put into the situation where he was abandoned due to a new baby in the house. I think it would explain why he doesn't have a good thought on the idea of dog owners with a baby
The dogs howling were done by The Mellomen, a singing group consisting of Thurl Ravenscroft (bass), Bill Lee (baritone), Bob Hamlin (lead tenor) and Max Smith. Thurl have been voice acting in many Disney movies from Pinocchio (as the vocal effects of Monstro the Whale) to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, as well as singing in The Mellomen, he is otherwise best known as Tony the Tiger from the Frosted Flakes/Frosties commercials which he did until he's death in 2005, and as the voice of Kirby the Vacuum Cleaner in The Brave Little Toaster trilogy. Bill Lee aside from The Mellomen was the singing voice of Roger Radcliffe in 101 Dalmatians.
Peg, the dog singing "He's a Tramp" was voiced by jazz singer Peggy Lee, who also co-wrote the songs for the movie. I think she also did the voices for the Siamese cats.
This was such a fun reaction! I love how y’all appreciate the older film style. And it made me smile that y’all saw the carriages and Edwardian clothes and thought 1950’s!
The implications with Jock and Trusty offering up their homes is that Lady is already pregant (or is assumed to be). They're essentially offering to marry her in case she gets kicked out of her house.
I lost my beagle Molly in November. My 1st dog and always a sweetheart, she acted like Lady from the day I met her. I have her paw cast on my desk. Luckily love lives on and I have a 2 year old husky named Casimir and recently got a boxer puppy named Pudge (he was a little pudgy when we got him and the nickname stuck). The 2 boys love each other and the once wild Casimir is a good older brother. Checks up on Pudge and you can tell they love each other a lot. Sorry the comment is so personal, this movie just made me remember Molly and how much I loved her and my dogs. 😂
I was in elementary school when this was re-released in the sixties. I saw the commercials and stuff about it on "The Wonderful World of Disney" TV show, so I really wanted to see it, but my parents never got around to taking me or my siblings. I was in high school when it was re-released again in the seventies, so, after a decade, my little sister and I finally went see it. It was worth the wait. To this day, it's one of our favorite animated movies.
25:52 the dog growls/snarls were also used in “old yeller,” “101 Dalmatians,” “Sword in the stone,” and “the rescuers.” Warner Bros also used it for Clint Eastwood film “The Rookie.”
I was intrigued over Walt's fascination over the Cocker Spaniel when he and his crew were still assembling this movie in the 1950s. Perhaps this is why he made that breed of dog the lead in Lady & the Tramp.
Lady was originally suppose to be a Springer Spaniel it's why early depictions of her are shown with spots. I believe a Cocker Spaniel was Walt Disney's childhood dog and that's why they chose the breed.
The film was made in the 50's but the story is set in the tu4n of the century (late 1800's) I had to laugh when Angelina said, oh, it's the 50's; they wore long skirts :)

literally my favorite cartoon ever, nothing can beat it🙈🥰 and no matter how many times i’ve seen this cartoon, i cry every time when Trusty gets in that “accident” in the end
Bit of clarification for the opening: When the wife said "It's the one I've been admiring isn't it?" she thought it was the ribboned hat she wanted; since that's a hat box. So the puppy most likely was put there last minute. Also sleeping puppies don't use up much oxygen. Also, props for the crocodile, he did want to help. Also also, since Tony is Italian he most likely changed his name from Antonio - or at least using the Americanised nickname - to fit in better with the locals.
43:33 Yeah, this is the biggest reason why I've ALWAYS disliked Aunt Sarah. I've had dogs my whole life and whenever they get really vocal or act erratically, they're trying to tell me something. Usually it's because they're not feeling well, they need to go out, want to play, or because someone pulled into my driveway (friends, or someone who got lost/is making a U-turn). But sometimes it'll be because they see a coyote, a raccoon, a bird, or something from the balcony and they're letting me know they see it. I've scared off possums and raccoons thanks to my boys!
At the start, Lady was in a hat box - so the woman assumed her husband was giving her 'the hat she's been admiring, trimmed with ribbons'. Seems that was misunderstood so just mentioning :)
Hey Timothee,Lady And The Tramp is one of the best Disney movies ever and maybe even better than Disney modern, this movie is so CUTE. Oh and btw now that you already at least reacted to the first season of Euphoria. Its time for Requiem For A Dream.😳
The fact that the storytellers pulled off the idea that they slept together and Lady got pregnant in a 50's animated film is a feat in of itself. Well played.
Lady and the Tramp was one of my favorite old Disney Classics. I even watched the remake and they kept the spaghetti kiss scene which made me cry with happy tears! Back when I used to watch Glee, I listened to the Glee version of Bella Note and I fell in love with the harmonious symphony and I still listen that song!
I saw this before but with Angelina, I just have to rewatch your reactions both of you plus I can't get enough of Lady's little cries as a puppy its adorable and reminds me of when I had cute little puppies before they grew up :')
This movie is and always be in my top 5 Disney movies. It doesn’t matter how many times I see it. If you want to see something just as emotional you guys should give Fox and the Hound a try.
omg i jut realized that her owners are called "jim dear" and "darling" because thats what they call each other so lady thinks thats what their names are XD thats such a cute detail i never picked up as a kid
“She said it was the one she was admiring!” No, no, she’s referring to a hat they saw while in a store. Jim put Lady in a hat box and Darling thought he bought her the hat she was looking at before.
Great reaction guys! :) Though this movie was made in the 1950's, it was set in the 1890's. That's why there are old cars and carriages at the same time, and those old phones and clothes.
Damn I'm in love with Angelina's energy! She was like there are definitely humans in the studio wooing ahaha had me dying!. Thinking the same thing before she said it lol... Wifey material all day...
I think that if they took little of the faces of the humans it was not because of difficulty, but to give even more prominence to the dogs. If you see Snow White, you will be able to realize the naturalness of the movements and expressions. And it´s before this one.
thats not why they dont show the people's faces..... its to make the camera feel lower and more child or dog height. Makes the camera feel like a dog's perspective but also more relateable for a child. Seeing as it is a child's movie at heart
Probably my favorite of all the classic Disney animated films. Must've watched this hundreds of times as a kid. I can't remember a time when there hasn't been a dog in my house. This one is just gold.
I love lady and tramp so much, when I was a child I watched and I was crying through most of the movie because it was so heartwarming but I didn't finish it because my parents turned off the tv because they though the tv was too bright but I know those tears were because of how beautiful the movie was
You both earned a subscription I love pretty much everything. You did an amazing job. I love when people do reactions to my favorite movie of all time. I can't believe there are people out there who haven't experienced this Lady and the Tramp. I mean, sure I'm not exempted from it either, well kinda. You see, I did experience Lady and the Tramp when it was new in 1955 as I was born in 2000. However, I did see the movie on a DVD my mom got for me. Rest in peace, mom, still love you. Sorry, didn't mean to get all emotional but I just had to mention my first memory of this movie. Not to mention it's a movie based on the connection between dogs and humans. I love dogs and always wanted one but I still never got one yet. But I hope one day it will happen. Another cool fact is that this movie got me into loving spaghetti and as a fun tradition whenever spaghetti is what I'm having I will watch Lady and the Tramp and Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure. That's how much Lady and the Tramp means to me. I really hope you watch the sequel and do a reaction because it would be interesting to hear your thoughts. Thank you for reading and have a good day.
Haven't seen this film in so long but wow I remember all of it! XD so much nostalgia. I remembered when Tramp started calling Lady, Pige. And when I saw the cat sequence, and that the beaver is basically the same character as the Gopher from Winnie-the-Pooh haha XD
As a kid, i loved lady and the tramp! It was romantic and cute and i loved watching it over and over. That being said, now as a more aware adult, its tainted a bit by the EXTREMELY racist siamese cat scene and knowledge of walt disneys anti-asian history. Thats a sad reality of older movies, but instead of burying disneys past, as long as we are aware, its possible to still enjoy older media, and lady and the trump is one that brought me a lot of joy growing up, personally
Fun fact: This was the first Disney film that was shown in CinemaScope which meant that this was shown in widescreen and CinemaScope was common for films that were released in the 1950s
"I can't believe they'd do this in a Disney movie!" Have you never seen Bambi? XD Seriously, a lot of the older Disney movies have really dark parts, and in some of them, characters die. Not as dark as Don Bluth, but they're not afraid to show something dark or scary as long as there's a happy ending.
I wish disney movies today would be that dark like they used to back then. Yea we still do get dark moments but man, old disney movies had bigger guts and weren't afraid to be super dark 😲
45:15 *@TimotheeReacts* "You ca-😰 You can't go to something positive like this, now..." *Me:* "Well... at least you're ready for Bambi. 😂" Man, 'Lady and the Tramp's' animation and music is very lively, dynamic and beautifully well-executed. A film and story, alongside others like 'Bambi,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' etc., that holds up in "rewatchability," which I value as a great accomplishment for any media. 😅
Some great old disney movies are, Dumbo, Jungle Book, Snow White and the 7 dwarfs, the Aristocats, Pinoccio. There was a torch singer by the name of Peggy Lee, she sang in the style of Peg.
Someting you didn't notice is that in the scene where we wait for the arrivial of the baby, Jim Dear think it's gonna be a boy (which ulitmately he was right) as he have bought sports equipment and putting up a Yale flag on the bedroom wall (typically boy stuff) while Darling thinks it's gonna be a girl as she writes down girl names on the paper.

Trivia: Originally, Trusty, the bloodhound, was supposed to die at first. But after what happened with Bambi when he killed off the mother, Walt Disney didn't want to kids and parents leaving the theater upset, so he had Trusty live at the end.
Even de rat's death occurs out of public view.
I heard they didnt change to a possitive ending until a few test watchers said it was too sad
@@Cantmakeupmymindonaname Yeah

in the 1953 book, trusty does die. granted in the book trusty has more depth to him and him dying contributes to the Tramp's character development.
I can think of two possibilities that happened which:
1. Tramp was left out in the doghouse until he decided to try and escape on his own.
2. His owners abandoned him in near the tracks and basically left him for "dead"
It's sad but a cruel reality for a lot of dogs that owners will actually do this.
It is definitely implied: when Jock and Trusty want to know who is he to come barging in, Tramp replies, “The voice of experience”.
Its explained in Lady and the Tramp 2
She always reminded me of Goldie Hawn haha
She also voiced Darling and the 2 Siamese cats.
"It's the one I was admiring, isn't it?" Jim fooled her a little. He put lady in a hatbox, Darling thought he got her a fancy hat she was admiring.
@@ericjanssen394 especially with her ear on top of his head! I think it’s safe to say they did the deed lol.
Ohhh I never knew that!!!
Wow i never realised that
It's implied that Jock and Trusty were offering their homes to Lady not because her owners left, but because she got pregnant after her night with Tramp. They were offering to marry her because having children out of wedlock was frowned upon.
Really cause she never showed any signs of pregnancy.
@@lukelichtenthal5407 But she did spend a romantic night with Tramp and had puppies in the last scene.
@@lukelichtenthal5407 she had puppies very quickly. Trusty was still injured from the car hit. Meaning it couldn’t be too far since then.

Fun facts : some dogs of the movie make a cameo in " The 101 dalmatians " and in the french version, Jock, Joe and the old man of the zoo are voiced by the same guy : Roger Carel
If you mean the one with Tramp's puppy Scamp, he was already a star of Disney's comic strips and books in the 60's-70's.
@@ericjanssen394 oh, I didn't know that
@btamamura I don't know who Mel Blanc is but if you say that.
I'm sad to learnt, only after his dead, that Roger Carel was behind a lot of the characters of the Disney movies of my childhood.
It's a very big loss for the french voice acting 😥
@btamamura it's good to ear that. Did you see all the characters Roger Carel was ?
@btamamura Mel Blanc didn't voice Scooby Doo, it was Don Messick, trust me, I know my voice actors.
Scotties and Pinschers are 500g balls of anger lol
It was pretty obvious that she didn’t like Lady at all. It’s pretty easy to make someone think the worst of someone else if they already don’t like them.
Awww, how cute! 😊 I'm curious, did you ever show your dog this movie, just to see what her reaction is to Jock?

This movie and Aristocats are one of my two favorite classical Disney movies, absolutely love them!
It’s one of my favorites too
I really like Lady and the Tramp, it’s is a very cute film about dogs. The animation is superb for one of the earlier Disney classics and the character’s are great as well. When someone brings up this film, the first thing that pops into your head is the famous spaghetti dinner scene. Nothing like seeing the romance between these two title character’s. 🐕🐕🍝😊
I had two big posters of the spaghetti scene when I was little
Walt Disney definitely had an affinity for specific dog breeds when he and his crew were assembling this movie.
The classics are always so heartwarming!
Absolutely great vibe from these kind of films. The music just makes it even better
My grandparents used to have Scotty dog named, Killer Bob. He was the reason Jock was my favorite character in this movie.
@@BlackavarWD Nope. It was because he was a total scaredy cat. And just the sweetest thing.
@@BlackavarWD It was meant to be ironic.
@@BlackavarWD And they just liked the name Bob.
That is a metal name for a dog!
That's why the movie was so revolutionary at the time in 1955, because it was cute and a drawing!
And as they show in the end, they are very tender, calm dogs who has infinite patience, especially with little ones 💚
PS: The name means more simply 'pureblood', a name given to it as a sign of respect.
The movie was made in the 50s, but it was set in an earlier era judging by the tech. Even the doctor was in a horse drawn carriage.
Yeah, I think 1900s maybe
The rat scene in Lady and the Tramp scared the hell outta me as a child and it still does now
39:51
The intended implication in this scene that Lady is pregnant by Tramp, and Trusty and Jock know it. They're both trying to save Lady from a scandal by offering to pretend to be the puppies' father and starting a fake relationship with her.
"They can't kill Trusty. Not in a cartoon ! It'd be too dark." Umm, have you seen Bambi?
Y’all, the scene where Trusty regains his sense of smell and bays, tracking the wagon; GOOSEBUMPS. EVERY. TIME.
Fun fact: The song that the Siamese cats sing is actually about racism
Hey, Tim. Did you know that there is a sequel to this film called: Lady & The Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure. You must watch this one day, it's so good!
That means, with the sequel in consideration, their puppies should have a "mustache" like Tramp, but only Scamp got it
@@stephanniemorin. That's not strange for Animals just like people to be more like one parent then another!
A lot of people talk about the one scene in "Bambi"... but for me that shot of Trusty at the end where he _looks totally dead_ was always far more upsetting to me as a child (even though he was shown to have lived in the next scene).
I always love your collabs with Angelina. Hope there's more to come in the future.
Another one of my favorite classic Disney animated movies.
Fantastic reaction, and another fantastic collaboration. 😊
And did any trained ear recognize Alan Reed, aka Fred Flintstone, as Gorky, the philosophical Russian wolfhound?
She was the voice of Darling as well.
You know this movie doesn't take place in the 1950's, it was made in the 1950's but it's supposed to take place during the 1900s-1910s

When Darling says “this is the one I’ve been admiring,” she is assuming that what’s inside is a hat, as the box looks like a hat box.
You two should really check out Spirit: Stallion Of the Cimarron. Such an under appreciated classic
Oh yes!
Along with Disney, Dreamwork's 2D animated films will always remain a classic. Especially (Spirit, Prince of Egypt, Road to El Dorado)
@@jessiedraco8727 Prince of Egypt is amazing!

She was thinking about what hat was in it, not describing the box.

Isn't that the same bulldog Tramp freed in the beginning?
Yes, but he and Peg got caught again.
The movie came out in the 1950s, but it takes place somewhere around the teens or twenties.
The fact that the storytellers pulled off the idea that they slept together and Lady got pregnant in a 50's animated film is a feat in of itself. Well played.
Fun fact: according to the sequel, the new puppies's names are Anette, Collette, Danielle, and Scramp, whom the sequel is based on.
Lady and the Tramp was one of my favorite old Disney Classics. I even watched the remake and they kept the spaghetti kiss scene which made me cry with happy tears! “She said it was the one she was admiring!”
No, no, she’s referring to a hat they saw while in a store. Jim put Lady in a hat box and Darling thought he bought her the hat she was looking at before.
Barbara Luddy doing the voice work for Lady still has to be some of the finest vocal acting in the Disney canon.

Lady and the Tramp are arguably two of the first actual complex Disney movie characters. I would say Wendy from Peter Pan is probably the first.
thats not why they dont show the people's faces..... its to make the camera feel lower and more child or dog height. Makes the camera feel like a dog's perspective but also more relateable for a child. Seeing as it is a child's movie at heart
It's hilarious how different the baby's head's artstyle is compared to the other humans.

Yea we still do get dark moments but man, old disney movies had bigger guts and weren't afraid to be super dark 😲
this film is cuteness over load and always makes me cry....loved the reaction guys...hope you do more..much love to you both xx

*@TimotheeReacts* "You ca-😰 You can't go to something positive like this, now..."
*Me:* "Well... at least you're ready for Bambi. 😂"
Man, 'Lady and the Tramp's' animation and music is very lively, dynamic and beautifully well-executed.
A film and story, alongside others like 'Bambi,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' etc., that holds up in "rewatchability," which I value as a great accomplishment for any media. 😅
"Am I gonna want a dog after this?" Absolutely!!
I loved this movie as a child, I'm 13 now and still love it, amazing film.
45:10 The original ending was with trusty's death, but walt's wife begged him to changed it
Great movie grew up watching it but have never seen the second one
Two of my favorite reactors together

@@ANGELINAA I just got done watching your reaction to arrow
The movie takes place in 1909. Some of their comments show they didn't get that.
11:40 this because the movie is from the POV of the dogs. The film is mostly at ground level if you’ve noticed
