Beautiful car MM. You and Kumo have very good taste. Very timely episode as I was out for my morning breakfast run in my lovely Miata RF and did a double take at the stop light when someone had a beautiful RS7 Sportback in this same paint color but all the trim and badging was in the Audi Sport Red on all the trim pieces that weren’t carbon fiber. It was absolutely stunning in person. This wagon looks even more so. Tell the boss to keep up the great work. Vielen Dank!
It's my understanding that the carbon ceramic brakes in this vehicle don't actually improve stopping power or distance. Rather they faide less and that's their main advantage. I could be wrong though.
For comparison, that weighs as much as my Model S P100D, which is just staggering. I didn’t realize anything car sized and non electric could weigh that much except maybe the V12 S class With that being said, if I didn’t have 2 years left on my lease I’d be in line to get one. The RS6 had been my dream car/wagon since the twin turbo V10
So, you didn't mention the availability of this at all. When this was first planned on coming to the states, we were only going to get it for this one model year and only 2 per US Audi dealership. That would be roughly 600 RS6 Avants total for the US, ever. Is that still the case?
@@MotoManTV - ok, well....the only thing I heard you say is a very quick off hand comment, "we're lucky we get a couple hundred of these a year." That isn't very specific to what my question was.
