Nothing really "Strange" per se about their relationship. The only odd or Shady Thing was maybe in the fans' minds back in the 80's was that Patti Scalfa "stole" Bruce From Actress Juilianne Philips or Bruce supposedly cheated on Phillips with Scalfa
There was no supposedly about it. They had chemistry for each other before he married Julianne. He invited her to be part of the Band just as they were getting ready to go on the Born in the USA tour. Band members said that when he said he was getting married, they thought it was to Patti. She was part of the music scene in Asbury Park and knew each other back into the late 70s
