By making another story inspired by the same thing that inspired the story of "THE THING" in her version, all the scientist were killed not by "the thing" but... Just died, the thing was probably just that they experimented on the dog cause the dog suddenly attacked them like the penguins were doing the whole time😮... 😢

Since there were so many i want a giant devil penguin, like the Gnomes in Gravity Falls or like whishiwashi in Pokemon, just hundreds of them stacked together to make a penguin kiaju.
I can't get over Blitzø saying "DROP HIM!" and the penguin immediately falls over with no animation of it falling. It reminded me of Terminalmontage's "Something about" series, which had similar things to that penguin falling with no falling animation.
The minute I saw the landscape of where IMP were heading to, my mind instantly clicked to The Thing, such a good classic horror movie, I really liked the reference to it

They most definitely are The Thing, they were around the scientist at US outpost 31, all the men there cussed a lot there in their predicament, but here it took on the form of a penguin to spread to those not suspecting that a penguin can be their demise. As for the fire later in the short, it might have acted like it died in hopes to be taken back as a trophy and infect IMP when no one is looking.
Something that I wonder is, if IMP were able to get winter clothes, that means there is a place in hell were it is cold and you need winter clothing, but in this case where ?
Andrealphus' domain in Pride. it seems that Pride has an internal circle layout so you can have nine circles for the Dante reference and seven rings for the circus/Deadly Sins reference. And Andrealphus lives in a cold circle.
I love “The Thing” and knew that’s what they were going for here, so I was happy.😊❤ Also, I love that Keith David was in that movie too and we have him on “Hazbin Hotel” as Husk, so I enjoy the connection.😊

This kind of setting has been used in multiple horror and suspense movies so I was unsure if it was actually meant to be a reference to that specific film or not. I will admit, I thought the seal was going to turn into a monstrosity that looked like the practical effect in the dog cage scene. Such a good movie and still one of my favorites.

I was wondering about that and as kid the thing was one of the few films that got me for one seance in pitcular. But loved the thing movie. And I like the twist.

I think that's just a reference to that one photo of a penguin facing the camera with its mouth open (it had alot of sharp teeth in there)
