Denis Cyplenkov side pressure king 150kg+
I like that you ask him your questions and he explains all around it 👍👍👍

💪🏻👍
your chanel helped me much more than everything i was able to find on the internet about armwrestling. You stile to present is simple and very easy to understand. Very good work. Thanks for all videos.
Here the clean weight is 50kg. In this type of machine, the weight is divided by 2. Ratio 2 to 1.
According to physics there’s a clean weight is 100kg bc there’s only one lever on the top. If there were two levers than it’d be 50kgs
@@MisterTwister_69 You can see the cable is not fix to the weightstack. There is a puley on the weight stack. According to physic you are wrong.. this is not a 1:1 ratio but 2:1
@@jonathangrenier3564 didn’t notice that second pulley on the weight
I like how Janis is a perfect combination of Larratt (hand control and technique) and Hutchings (strength). Technique and hand control is very important but you still have to be strong enough to win once you're in your good position.
👍💪- Janis
Thanks. Working on these exercises to improve my strength. Totally unaware before at how strong you can get from armwrestling. Now I just started the training after I searched on how to get stronger forearms.
Great content. And I just love Janis. The Jedi!
Thanks Keith 👍💪 - Janis
I use bands mostly because i train at home & cant fit all that equipment. But some strategically placed hooks in the wall are working just fine for me
Very Informative coach
Because of the pulleys you should measure the real resistance of the weights with a pull force gauge
We have done that. - Janis
Could you make a video about one arm push-ups/pull-ups do they help in arm wrestling?
Oh and your videos are really fun and informative to watch😁
Will try!
Thx💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I am looking forward to it!
Actually that is a really good idea!
Greattttt......i would like to include this in my training
Do it. Everyone should.
-Ray
Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice I do the same at the gym it's a good movement and it spikes the test levels 😂
I can manage half that. Whew, you're stronk!
Please explain the non gripping table hand. How do we create the most pull with the entire body?
2:1 ratio weight, so it’d be around 50 kg this is already impressive. Imagine Todd Hutchings with his pr side pressure plus his way of doing side pressure is pure side pressure no back pressure involved. Nevertheless even just getting to Janis side strength is already super impressive.
Great content, great channel !
Thanks!
Whats the difference in training effect if you wrap your thumb under or over the roller?
Its the comfortable preference
Janis is great, thanks for the video
Thanks Korryu 👍😀 - Janis
amazing video, love ur hard brother !
Thank you very much!!!
Janis gives great advice
👍🏻👌🏼
How many KGs would be good for a 85kg person?
as many as you can do for 5-6 reps
Янис и Рэй, огромное спасибо за видео, рассказано все и по существу. Побольше таких видео. А Янис помнишь Сергея Блохина, из Казани?
Privet, Rinat. Spasibo za dobryye slova. Konechno ya pomnjyu borbu Sergejam na chempionatah mira 2007 i 2008 goda. silnyy sportsmen. 👍💪
@@voiceofarmwrestling сейчас он тренер и судья, но серьезно не тренируется. Было интересно услышать от него как вы с ним боролись и к сожалению он проигрывал. Сейчас он весит 100 кг
Hey coach ray..can i know what is Janis 3reps max side pressure with this position?
Bro if its side pressure why is pulley infront of you isnt it best if the pulley is on your side?
how to deal with elbow pain while i train side pressure?
Nice
Good video.
When i train side pressure i feel it mostly in my rotator cuff, am i doing it wrong?
i have a question why janis is doing this side pressure as he is a top roller or this benefit top roll style ? did we should add this side pressure with a side pressure for toproll?
How time a week you train for arm wrestling? 👍👍
Every time. We usually train 5-7 times in a week.
-Ray
I'd like to know where to sell handle equipment?
My elbow hurts a lot if i do this! I just started doing it! I am not talking about brachialis muscle but on the entire elbow it hurts! Can you guys help?
Connective tissue is / was weak. Just lower weight and go for reps and slowly get used to higher loads over time.
Good video. One question. Why are you pulling from the top pulley? Opponent's arm is same level as ours.
It is more for top rollers position. Lower cable height is for hook.
So at what point was it actually "side" pressure?
What do you mean
@@voiceofarmwrestling I thought you would set your cable at the same height as your hand and actually pull sideways to it..
@@yarrabarcreek5708 so you don't understand what side pressure is.
Is it true that Janis favorite exercise is one arm pull-ups ?
One arm pull-up is great exercise , but in workouts I do more pull ups with both arms and extra weights - Janis
Bro i am 57 kilo side preasure normal how ma
ny is?
Got to be that Christmas food calorie surplus lol
At what point is this side pressure?
The whole time.
Legal 👏🏼 👏🏼
When I get into this sport my name shall be the last armbender😂😂😂
667th comment, we are saved.
:Dthe hell gates are closed now.
What is a good weight (real weight) for someone who weighs 65kg?
50 kg will be close to elite.
@@voiceofarmwrestling Shifting 45kg now!
You talking about the normal weight machine orrr block system pulley ?
For how many reps?
Are big names in arm wrestling are natural ?most of them ??are they ??
what does "real weight" mean
You have to factor in the pulley system. With a compound pulley-two or more pulleys combined together-you can reduce the force required to lift the load.
Sveiki,vēlme pie Jums uz treniņu ierasties. Vai ir iespējams?
Sveiks, sazinies ar Raimonds Liepiņš, facebook vai instagram.
I see you train almost everyday a week, isn't it bad for recovery?
How to programe a training during a week to make solid work and maximum result for people that are not using PED.
Thank you for your insighful video.
We train in gym for 4-5 days, not always this hard. But taking enough time to recover from one workout to another. 3 days a week is best split in my opinion.
+Armwrestling Training (by Ray and Jedi) much respect, thank you.
Janis what's your take on use of steroids in lower weight classes? (Testosterone, Nandrolone etc)...... Engin has been honest about his use.
I Don’t have any personal experience with steroids. If I will use I will say You. - Janis
@@voiceofarmwrestling Sure, but how do you feel steroids help in limited weight classes compared to unlimited..... Eg. There's no way guys like Sasho, Vladisav, Rustam, Zoloev have never used steroids for strength gains and healing. They may not have abused steroids like bodybuilders, but for slight enhancement.
@@majortom566 A WAF athlete will not tell you even if he is on roids. You are more likely to drown a fish than to get Janis to say "I'm not natural"
lets pull soon
Be ready!
Hey Jason, Are You still active- compete, train? Have not seen You competing lately. Yes, let’s pull soon 😁👍- Janis
I was sick from a bone infection in my hip and another crappy situation. Started training again. Will compete next month
Janis, is it pure weight? I mean, pure 100kg or 100kg/2=50kg?
100 kg there is ~60 kg on our cable machine.
ELBOW OFF THE PAD!
Fowled out!!!! 😂
50 kg there 100/2
I am 67.8 kg I can do 65-70 kg...
:)
i am 60 kg and can do 32kg real weight, is that good? i think i can do more but i can't try cause i am healing from something.
What is Janis age ?
36
He said he was born in 1981
I see you pronate your wrist when you pull. Why
Only 50kg
2 pulleys?
How old is janis?
I was born 1981 - Janis
@@voiceofarmwrestling We're around the same are age. 1982 here, but i'm just starting 😊
what weight are you?
Janis is around 75-77 kg
Always remember that the actual weight is about 50 kilos because of the cables n pull compensation.
We know, but weight still was 100 kg 😀
@@voiceofarmwrestling yeah buddy but it is still 50kg in free weight
Cristopher, if You watched whole video, then You notice that I talked how much it is in real kilos on every episode when I talked about weights. And Armwrestling is not about who will lift more but how to get stronger on table. But good weights boost your confidence 👍 - Janis
And Yes it is about 60kg in our cable system - Janis
@@voiceofarmwrestling yes I use powerbands n measured the pull with an electronic tension meter. Wish I could spare with you buddy . God bless you
1st 😊
Untill failure
Janis: "Real weight. 50, 60kilos"
Denis: "Real weight 50, 60megas"
Weird comment.
50 Kilo grams = 50kg
50 Mega grams = 50,000 kg
한국 팔씨름 선수들은 왜 이렇게 약한걸까요 ?
Maybe they're not many arm wrestlers in Korea. Koreans are great weight lifters.
Learn how to interview dude. You're interrupting way too many times. Feels cringy. Have some respect for a world class athlete.
The only thing cringy here is your comment.
This was already pre-planned.
