0:15 Janis, Janis, Janis! I love you man and you're an incredible athlete, but of course the country crush is far harder if you have your thumb off of the frame, so have your hand more centered and all 5 fingers wrapped around the cylinders with ideally no skin contact with the frame...now do a one arm pull up like that :)!!
EDIT: I didn't realize this handle doesn't spin. Janis, please get a Monster Crush from Country Crush, it's like that handle but the cylinders are 3" in diameter but also freely spin.

On a conventional bar, palms forward and hands/arms far apart? (in attempt to make the pull up relevant to arm wrestling training) ("internal rotation" mentioned in another video ?)
there was a bodybuilder who graduated from University of Virginia in 1973 who could do 50 pull ups in conventional manner (I was there!) he could do a complete one arm with either arm from a fully extended/hanging start
he could also do a (both arms) pull up carrying another person of about 200 lb.
just messing around with a lat pull down machine with extra weight added to its 210 lb. stack me and another guy trying to keep him down on the ground/hold him from going up in the air while he tried to pull the thing making the machine work
never saw anyone else do a full one arm pull up although I think some male gymnasts can do it
