Oh,! 46 years later, still enjoying the creative sides of QUEEN! not the usual sound but still fun!!🎉 Love watching your reactions to QUEEN, there is a Xtra positive energy you project!! 👑 💜🎵
So cool having Roger on the left and Freddie on the right. Always liked Roger's raspy voice (not the dog whistle as Freddie called it) but his regular singing vocals. Just earlier I listened to Foreign Sand which he wrote the lyrics and Yoshiki (XJAPAN) the composition.- Fun It would have been a perfect fit for Hot Space with John's disco sound.-Thanks Hap!
That’s what makes Queen so interesting because their songs are all different. Roger’s raspy voice is a nice contrast to Freddie’s and I love it! Great reaction, Hap! ❤️
Hello Hap‼️ Glad to see ya! Queen’s producer Roy Thomas Baker was on board (Jazz album) for the first time since A Night At The Opera, after his success in the U.S. with The Cars debut album.
Well, as a big Queen fan and a music lover as such I embrace every peace of their catalog and don’t pick only their big hits. I admire the fact that they were so diverse and always experimenting. In this song it’s the first duet between Freddie and Roger. The second one was „Dog With A Bone“ to which you’ve already reacted to. At about 2:27 you can hear different voices on each ear (Roger/Freddie) ☺️. Even though they knew pretty much what was popular at the time, but didn't want to repeat it, so they created their own unique style. And often enough they were ahead of their time. This song is exactly that, a funky disco sound that is just so much fun to listen to. Thanks for this great reaction HAP❤️👑🙋🏻♀️. Btw. nice thumbnail, good solved 😜👍.
Thanks for your reaction. Fun It, it's just so very Roger Taylor. I'm guessing by "John Taylor" you meant John Deacon? Yes, he played bass on this. (let me amend this. My Jazz cd credits both John & Roger with 'bass". But I have the same book as you & it clearly omits John from the song).
When I first bought Jazz, I don't think I was feeling this one - but it does grow on you. A little like Fight from the Inside from NotW and Dancer from Hot Space. I come from the time of vinyl, so it wasn't worth it to get up and skip a song - that laziness goes a long way towards trying to find something you like about each song. :)
You know I love all things, Queen ❤ I was confused. So basically Roger did the singing? Freddy, did the background? As always, loved your reaction, Hap ✌️ ☮️ 🥷 👑
I thought I heard Roger singing a lot of the song (But I don't have headphones on) Then I questioned myself thinking it was Freddie. They should have done more duets (vs Roger just doing back up) as they fit so well together. Never heard it before but didn't hate it. It kind of sounded like the current Roger....to me anyway.
Freddie's unmistakable voice!! 💕😊 Queen, as always, full of surprises after all these years

Not one of my faves. Sorry Queen. The line "Just shaking the soles of your feet" sounds very like another Queen song but I can't think of it just now.
