KH3's Opening Syncs Perfectly With Smash Ultimate's Lifelight

- Back in January, before Kingdom Hearts 3 was even out, I was looking at the leaked opening cutscene while my brother booted up Super Smash Brothers Ultimate on the other side of the room. I noticed some parallels.
This would've been up right when the game released, but in the weeks following KH3's launch, most videos containing the game's opening cutscene were blocked worldwide by Disney. Then I kinda moved on with my life and forgot I had this.
There's obviously some cheating in this video, where I've sped up or slowed down the footage very slightly. But it works pretty well even without any modification.

@@braylenswain4017 well, considering there was no specific mention of Sora, my guess would be is that the last trailer was going to be the way it was no matter what, and whatever Mario would've thrown, would've had something do with the character that was joining.

The lyrics for the whole song work well for KH as a whole. I especially like "On that day, when the sky fell away, our world came to an end" like it's describing the start of KH1

I'm honestly beginning to think this was all planned in advance. I think Sakurai already got the rights for Sora before Smash Ultimate released and he planned the game (or at least some aspects) in advance for Sora as the final reveal. It's just way too much for it to be a coincidence. Lifelight is more a Kingdom Hearts song than Smash, evidenced by this video. Even more, the song fits perfectly with the kh3 opening, both in length, in score, in changes of rythm, the crescendos, and lyrics. AND some lyrics don't just fit to KH as a whole, but fit specifically for the scene of the opening being shown at that exact moment.
"In our eyes, did a fading sunrise in the dark? Glimmering shadows" is sung when they show Xehanorts eyes and change scene to a rise in darkness and shadows.
"every soul contains a glimmer of light" when Ventus' heart falls to the Destiny islands, not just turning from darkness to the light of the paradise, but also Ventus' heart is pure light that takes refuge in Sora's.
"As fate spins a thread without end. New life draws its first breath. Blossoming in a soil reclaimed from the past. Where destiny holds fast" this ALL fits the story of Roxas, BUT the things that fit perfectly with the opening are when Roxas appears exactly as the lyrics say "new life draws its first breath" and when Sea salt trio splits up and Roxas goes after Xion as lyrics sing "where destiny holds fast".
Finally, the lyrics say "Light will guide you, on your way to the ultimate fight" just when Sora opens up doors of light for himself and the rest of the guardians of light and they walk through.

Honestly, Sora was a miracle if I'm being fair from what I've heard. Getting Sephiroth and Hero after Cloud was a pain in the ass to get back for the game was a miracle in it of itself, but for Sora to come shortly after Sephiroth, now that. That in it of itself was something truly impossible. It's one of those rare times where you can say that it was basically winning the lottery.
I'm gonna laugh so hard if this is a secret hint that Square never wanted you to find out that Sora is confirmed for Smash.

It's starting to make a whole lot of sense why the sora reveal was a sequel to the very first teaser for smash ultimate
I still think that Sora was planned from the start of Ultimate, and made the game and story go around that in every way, I mean, Sora was the most wanted character in Smash 4 Ballot, way before Ultimate being developed, wouldn't be a surprise that they made Lifelight based on this intro as a real clue for what was coming

Samus hunter's prediction that it would be 3rd party character and the fact that Sakurai said he will give us the time and memories that we enjoyed in smash for the last character. What does it translate to then? Welp first off regarding of Samus Hunter's claim that it would be third party character most likely which eliminates every Nintendo first party character being revealed and secondly what Sakurai said plus Samus Hunter's prediction backs up with each other as so far what Sakurai hinted at could be Chrono Trigger since it is related to the concept of time but since Samus Hunter said it is most likely 3rd party nintendo game Chrono from Chrono Trigger is eliminated since it is first party games thus so far there is only one game that use the heavy concept of time and memories but also third party game and that is KH. At first I thought it was Master Xehanort since he can manipulate time itself but knowing how it ended up with hero then Sora fits the category.

Honestly, knowing how Sakurai and Nomura are, and the fact that they knew back in Smash 4 that Sora was the true Smash Ballot winner (though wasn't feasible at the time) I feel like they purposefully planned this together, knowing that Sora would eventually be the final Smash character.

What the hell, I was a little bit skeptical at first, the are lots of videos like this in other fandoms that don't make a lot of sense to me, but his one is AMAZING WHAT??? There are several moments where the lyrics sync up with the cinematic but here 0:44 is when you sold this to me. Super crazy.

I like how if you take the four trios (as shown at 4:08) and add an extra character (either Namine, Eraqus or Isa could work, depending on personal preference), it comes out to 13 protagonists. Sort of like an anti-Org XIII.
