  • You can win a lot with a good backhand push.
    Hello, welcome back to PingSunday. Let's learn the right technique for the good backhand push!
    You can win a lot of people, with just a super spinny and fast push. It's a good weapon in table tennis that helps you win more.
    Today coach EmRatThich will summarize the basic concept. The technique is illustrated by the Chinese coach.
    I would like to emphasize to everyone that a good push is very important.
    It’s like the serve, it’s the basic technique, but it’s VERY important.

    Hi! Can I ask you? I am using sttacking short pips rubber (Vctas VO 101) on the BH. How should I adjust BH push, to get advantage? Should I follow the instruction mentioned in this video? Because I can not generate as much spin as inverted rubber. Thanks for your answer in advance. Daniel

    I mean tese are the very basics, I could attack every one of those balls, against very low rated oponents or someone with a very bad backhand this is okay, but I always try to teach them not to play too long so the opponent can't attack, if you have to push long though, this is the way to do it! I do not agree with the if you hold your racket flat it counters every spin your oponnent puts and makes it heavy backspin, I know she meant every amount of backspin/not a lot of spin, but I feel some people will misunderstand this.

    Not sure if the focus should be on the forearm or if I should focus on moving the wrist.

    Thank you ERT , you supply always the little importaant weapon . Question : how do you convince a new comer to stop holding the racket with 4 fingers on handle , i repeat but keeps this bad habit , told her she cannot improve the control on the ball..

      yes. i will ask her to do the simple multiball. and ask her to hit hard and no mistake. if she fails then she should change the grip

    Hi coach!
    Which blade is better for h3 rubber, nittaku acoustic or violin? And which one is better for learning? also
    do you know how long Ma Long used the nittaku violin for?
    i would really love and appreciate a reply as i need YOUR help to buy a blade that suits my looping style.
    All the best.

      @@hadyalbagu8615 then Stiga Allround Classic (or maybe CR, or Nostalgic Allround) are better than Acoustic. Acoustic is anything but a beginner's blade.

    so no wrist?? how to deal with less spin in the coming ball, or much spin?

    • @michaels3708
      @michaels3708 Год назад +2

      She is using her index finger and thumb (as stated) so this implies some small sharp wrist action on contact but otherwise not massive wrist action here... some people prefer a bush further in front like fencing attack action, and just a little wrist, like natural wrist... but the focus is the drive forward from body and elbow with small extra from wrist...

    • @augustinemaji1244
      @augustinemaji1244 Год назад +5

      You can. It works for every spin. For topspin you need to push/chop from top down. If you chop bottom of the ball forward, it will pop high for your opponent to smash.

      @@augustinemaji1244 I understand, but in the video she says that no matter what kind of spin, she doesn't mention using open angle and push from top to bottom if is a topspin, she asks to always brush under the ball

      @@kioka2probably, she meant "no matter what amount of spin", it makes more sense in context, you may think (I still do - need to test) for weak underspin racket should be more open.
