Yes.. What I love about this movie even with limited technology at that time it able to make such a imaginative fight scenes something like straight from an anime.. It better than most of the movies such as mcu which even after having such giant superhero franchise never able to pull off memorable fight scenes.
To me, this was the best scene of the film. I don't really care for the "bowling pin" sound effect, but other than that a solid scene. It's the first film I can remember using digital doubles the way they did.
Any scene in this movie is just pure esthetic. That probably bothers people, cause nothing in their life is just this perfect. This is like the best fight scene I've seen in a movie, in every aspect. I like the effects and music as well. Nothing wrong with it. The fight takes place in the Matrix, so it makes sense that it's not bloody or imperfect, considering Smith and Neo are the most powerful programs in the Matrix. So it's almost like they're dancing. Damn, it's just so good!
DUDE, the BOWLING PIN effect rocks the fucking world, it means the brothers got a sense of humor, because this is not just a serious fight but a funny one also! and that makes it perfect!
Hanky Panky their technically sisters now. Also I also like the bowling sound and the domino sound when Neo gets punched back and he knocks all the smiths down.
This scene was "good" for it's time at the beginning. As the fight went on... the CGI got really bad! Neo's face looks fine, but the Smith clones looked blurry and distortioned!
A lot of people talk about how bad the CGI was in this scene but honestly I don't understand why. It actually looks pretty great to me, even after all these years later.
I'd like to think the somewhat ordinary processing power of that area of New York in the Matrix was being taxed to violent overheat by the event taking place here, so reality wasn't glitching, it was straight-up lagging, resulting in some loss of resolution and effect. Machines may slaughter us all and evolve into something bigger in this future, but we still built 'em on a system that always needs improving when something new happens.
I just realise today after watching this in UHD version that all this fight scene was entirely made by computer animation. And only on few occasions there were actors (close up chats).. bit late huh?
Still makes me wonder what was Neos actual goal here Was it to stop Smith or was he just trying to get away from smith. I understand at the end he say "Ok I gotta get out of here" but did he stay that long to try stop him or just couldn't get away?
The most unrealistic thing about this fight was Neo’s glasses never fell off
Zechariah doesnt need to be realistic its a computer avatar there for physics are not counted too
it a computer program and they are kinda physical represntation
Or the Smiths
Imagine you antivirus program doing all that fighting.
Only Game developers and Animation artists of today can understand the amount of hard work that went in the CGI of this movie.
The fight was amazing until so many Smiths came on. It was actually a real fight and then the CGI got really bad.
Movie still sucked balls
@Akshay kotian They were real people... but they didn't have masks. Their "Smith" faces were CGI with different Hugo Weaving expressions.

Agent Smith: It is inevitable
Thanos: Ah I see, you are a man of culture as well
Who was the funny guy in charge of soundfx that used the sound of bowling pins getting hit at 3:30?
made my day
I was wondering if I had just imagined that
3:40 "Can anybody fly? No? Shit son party is over."

Many Corrupt Politicians Vs One Common Man
The best thing about this scene is the epic movie score.
The most beautiful scene and fighting I've ever seen, I don't give a fuck about the CGI either. Masterpiece in my opinion.
It just doesn't look believable enough for me. They look like rubber people
Same at least it's cool and imaginative not like lame marvel movies
A lot of people talk about how bad the CGI was in this scene but honestly I don't understand why. It actually looks pretty great to me, even after all these years later.
It would be cool to see it redone with current CG technology.
@@MaXGTS1 It would look more artificial
its fuckin 2003! 15 years ago! Looks damn amazing, everyone was jaw dropped at the time of screening :D
Maybe it was The Matrıx crashing.
Even if the CGI was bad, it adds to the charm of this classic scene. No one in Hollywood is gonna do this again.
Did that one Smith tossed against the wall bust apart like a Lego figure?

Was it to stop Smith or was he just trying to get away from smith. I understand at the end he say "Ok I gotta get out of here" but did he stay that long to try stop him or just couldn't get away?
