- Welcome back to my channel! In today's video, I'll show you three exquisite plaster of Paris craft ideas that you can easily make at home. Get ready to create a stunning vase, mesmerizing wall art, and more!
First up, let's make a beautiful vase. Start by adding water to plaster of Paris powder and mix it well until you get a smooth consistency. Pour the mixture into a balloon , applying slight pressure to remove any air bubbles. Allow it to set for a few hours or overnight. Once it's completely dry, carefully remove it from the mold. You can then paint and decorate the vase to your liking. Transform it into a centerpiece that will surely catch everyone's attention!
Next, let's move on to creating mesmerizing wall art. Draw random lines and apply the mixture on top. I wanted to make a silver tree.Grab your favorite acrylic paints and create a work of art that will instantly bring life to any dull wall.
Finally, let's explore another fantastic craft idea using plaster of Paris. This time I'm going to add some white cement. and I will make wonderful bathroom accessories. I pour the mixture into plastic waste containers whose shape I like and let them sit overnight. Decorate as you wish. I bought these tapes from dollar tree.

Hi...how much plaster do u use? I don't no how much to use for different size balloons....
Hello; You can use it as 1:1. The size of the balloon dosen't matter, after creating the first layer, put the mortar inside again.
@@diylena I tried that. I put a layer in & waited til dry. Then once I touched the balloon the plaster started cracking & falling off the inside of the balloon. Smh don't no why. This looks easy on the video but doing it...kinda not so easy.
@@diylena also how much to use?
Nobody ever state that in these VIDEOS. U said 1...1. But wat is that? How to wait to dry? Sum VIDEOS say 30mins others 24hrs...
@@NekoleJ. First of all, I apologize for the late response. I was on vacation. The plaster must be plaster, other plasters will crack. 1 glass of plaster, 1 glass of water, that's all. If you want, I can make a more detailed video for you.
@@diylena I mean I thought plaster is plaster. I'm using plaster of Paris. Wat plaster to use? & yes if u want to on the video. I just need to no is the cup amount a cup like the measuring cup u use wen cooking?
I'm looking to do some figures with plaster of Paris. Is there something you can add to it to make it stronger?
Hello, you can add white cement to the plaster. It will dry a little slower but it will be very strong.
